  1. No one said they weren't unbiased. I said they were in the middle of the reporting you're seeing. They are far less polarised than most You give an example of killed / deaths which has been mentioned here before and you also say it was criticised and hasn't done it again (that you've seen). That to me says they are at least trying to report with a degree of objectivity, that's the middle ground
  2. As a high earning renter, sorry but your idea scares the shit out of me. I need private landlords. I'm too old to make a mortgage a viable option, I will never own a home but I will (hopefully) always earn way too much money for social housing to offer me anything
  3. The renter pays council tax not the landlord
  4. You presented Al Jaz at one end of the scale and the BBC at the other. I'm saying the BBC is in the middle. Israeli focused outlets will be at the other end of the scale. I inferred nothing. You're wrong because what you said is clearly wrong, there are many Israeli biased sites that represent the polar opposite view to your example of Al Jaz. The BBC is clearly much nearer the middle in the way the media is portraying this. What you said is absolutely not true
  5. Does this person understand how nuclear weapons work?
  6. This is absolutely not true. The BBC is as much in the middle as you'll ever get. Go see how a Jewish Outlet is reporting it
  7. Well I might make it at 6am and eat it at 1pm. On occasion I may even make it the evening before My missus has been known to make hers on a Sunday evening for Monday and Tuesday's lunch
  8. Definitely not alone on that one, it's highly irritating on a never of levels
  9. it also makes a barrier between the bread and the filling so the tuna doesn't seep into the bread
  10. Because demand is still outstripping supply. Even Starmer's 1.5 million homes is a little short of the mark over 5 years
  11. Government incompetence encouraged fraud. Encouragement doesn't need to be explicit
  12. You’d be quite happy at Lime Street Station
  13. Yes and more houses is what makes houses more affordable
  14. Mone's VIP fast lane application for the contracts was fraudulent, it stated that PPE Medpro had extensive experience in the supply of PPE, it had none, in fact it hadn't even been incorporated as a company when the contracts were awarded.
  15. Angela Eagle was complaining about that on Monday iirc (along the lines of another unwritten agreement / convention broken) but it's not just leaders, it's parties in general. It is absolutely indicative of the mess they are in and that they absolutely know it.
  16. Do we have any examples of this? I’ve seen criticism of the BBC that they don’t label Hamas as terrorists if that counts as pro-Israeli bias. When it comes to world events the BBC is usually one of the least biased in its output imo. (Different story at home)
  17. Second album Repeater was brilliant but “it’s not really got a Waiting Room on it” was often heard.
  18. Yeah they admitted in an interview the other week that Morriconne was a big influence on the new album but if you want Morriconne influenced psyche-pop look no further than The Liminanas. Loads of the Maestro, John Barry, Serge Gainsbourg, ye-ye in their stuff
  19. Such a shame that was on the first album, it overshadowed everything they did from that point forward. It’s a magnificent song but everything they did was compared to it, which was rather unfair
  20. Is that the country version of the Strawberry Switchblade song?
  21. Says someone using Social Media. It's not SM that is the problem, it's the way certain SM sites work
  22. Makes sense, more sense than the Democracy is disciple lead that I though I heard Given your answer, I'd suggest campaigning for a move to PR and a second elected chamber (de facto abolishing the HoL at the same time) Not sure what the fairy dust signifies though
  23. you mean the avocados that the chef dropped on the floor by accident and had to find a use for because they are so freakin' expensive?
  24. Nah, I like them with sauce and without. The cheaper the product between the bread, the greater the likelihood of sauce But butter with Bacon or Sausage is deviant behaviour
