  1. One for the odd record collection. This is a tribute to some architect called Buckminster Fuller Papernut Cambridge - Outstairs Instairs I ve seen it described as Art / Glam / Psyche Rock, in reality its a bloke with a keyboard and some mates (sonically similar to Go-Kart Mozart) Why is it an oddity? Well side A plays from the label outwards with a closed groove on the traditional run in. Yes, it you have an automatic deck you can’t play side A.
  2. Going back to this, just found out that cocaine addled Mac can no longer hit the high notes and there’s a female backstage that sings them for him. We’re trying to blag the guest list and Will says”I don’t want anyone to see us” … make of that what you want
  3. Rather selective quoting. 5 day ceasefire in return for SOME of the hostages. It doesn't mention how many
  4. He really is caught between a rock and hard place He can't sack her because internally he doesn't know if it will trigger a leadership election and it would be considered to be caving in to Labour and the LibDems and giving them a point in some mythical table. Also if he does sack her, even if it doesn't lead to a leadrship election it will still lay bare the absolute mess the Tories are in internally. Labour and the LibDems are in a win / win situation because they've called for something that would be popular and when Sunak doesn't do it, partly because they called for it, makes the Tories out in yet more bad light. She really is the gift that will keep on giving as far as opposition parties are concerned.
  5. Its you who drew the parallel not me, I was pointing out why your words were incorrect.
  6. I'm not, you've made that up, no integrity has been questioned. The point is unarmed civilians get shot by the police/military and not punished for it, here and in other countries. It is not something that is exclusively happening in Israel and it is not as you claimed in your initial post. Your statement was incorrect.
  7. Sean Fitzgerald, Coventry 2019. Still no charges 4 years later. It happens, there are lots of incidents where unarmed people are shot by police and the officer is not convicted.
  8. Yeah well someone had to drink shandy
  9. There was also another one at Wembley when me, blandy, Pelle and Tegis (and possibly Al and Aston, Ian Robo - memories blur) met up in Harrow before a game
  10. Well taking out Landing craft is certainly going to hinder supply issues, they can't be rebuilt overnight but the real story there was the special ops team carrying out the mission in Crimea, that's the big part of the story IMO
  11. OT but there are plenty of instances where this isn't the case. The Chris Kaba case springs to mind from very recently. There are plenty of others. It doesn't help anything to make comparisons that are demonstrably untrue just because you believe it to be so.
  12. It seems yesterday was rather successful for Ukraine in a number of operations. Reports of a hit on multiple high ranking officers located in some office block (missile strike) And another report claiming that multiple small Russian landing craft were destroyed in a port in Crimea but this wasn’t a long range precision strike, this was a Special Ops raid. The claim is that the landing craft were also loaded with vehicles at the time
  13. In Fabricants house when Andy Street discovered it was a syrup and Fabricant's real name is Replicant.
  14. Spurs worrying me at the back with the lack of players available. Possibly bringing in a Wolves midfielder this week for Ward-Prowse
  15. Nah, he's an irrelevance. He might well be a populist who latches on to anything that will improve his standing but he's also a vengeful bastard who won't have forgiven her for resigning from the cabinet and calling for him to resign.
  16. He's shit scared to sack her because they don't know who would support her in a leadership election and she probably has enough support for the letters to go in to the 1922 Ctte. The threshold is currently 55 or thereabouts I think. I think it highly likely she already has that level of support. It's what happens when a party has so much internal turmoil I initially thought it was all laying the groundwork for after the General Election but I think the way she's ramped up the rhetoric in the last couple of weeks, it may well be before.
  17. C'mon even I know who Gaynor Hopkins is
  18. It won’t there will be lots more headline grabbing insane policy pronouncements when they are the opposition and one suspects, more MPs doing the usual Tory things like rape and embezzlement. It won’t help them but we'll still be talking about them
  19. Talking of emails. After so prior correspondence I received this from GM Police yesterday... To which I replied... A response wasn't forthcoming yesterday but this morning I received To which I responded More grovelling was received
