  1. I'd have said the Baggies if it hadn't been for the fact that Robson is their manager I'll go for S'ton as its an away game I can make with a good excuse (want to go and seee your Dad dear?)
  2. Surely Cockney / Irish / Welsh / Scandinavian baiting would be more appropriate for redscouse
  3. You could argue the exact opposite JPA, d'Allesandro has only been a problem at one club, Bowyer has been a problem at all the clubs he's played for
  4. Its simple, I support Villa and couldn't give a stuff about Engerland anymore, international football is boring and it seems to get in the squad these days you have to be nice to Mr Beckham and his pet poodle Sven Where's the honour in playing for an England team thats more aboput marketing and profile advancement than actual results on the pitch. The England team these days exists to line the pockets of the FA and the players in the Beckham club, I'd rather our players weren't involved in that tbh
  5. No, couldn't care less about England anymore. International football bores the arse off me and just serves to tire our players, they're a good bunch of lads but they get little enough time to recouperate with our small squad
  6. I'll take agents out and shoot them at point blank range, exectution style (no blinfold) come the revolution - scummy leaches to a man, every single one of them.
  7. Round one for me, but it could be updated to look more "modern" if you like, it should also include "prepared"
  8. WTF is "Doing your hair"? thats for girls surely?
  9. Whats the Difference between Arthur Scargill and Michael Jackson Arthur Scargill hasn't had his hands on a miners helmet for 15 years
  10. standing in a seated area is far more dangerous imo than standing on a terrace. Doesn't stop me doing it btw and I'm not criticising those who do, its just inherantly more dangerous
  11. Yes but the point must be that THEY REGULARLY QUALIFY FOR EUROPE and could justify the cost of implementing such a system as it will be used Season on Season, could we justify the cost on that basis? EDIT: I don't want to sound negative as I am in favour of Safe Standing, the Taylor Report was a complete over-reaction, the problems at Hillsborough were almost unique, a stand that filled exclusively from the back and the crowds were channelled through very narrow passages - anyone who was there the previous season for the identical fixture (I was one) will tell you that it nearly happened the year before, that added to the fact the most logical road route from Liverpool to Hillsborough utilised the Snake Pass which anyone with half a brain would realise means DELAYS and fans arriving late
  12. Thinking of the increased capacity more like. You can bet your house on the fact that although the tickets will be cheaper, the amount of money taken for the space involved will be greater should this ever happen. Might aswell abandon the Hotel plans too if this were ever to happen as European matches have to be ALL SEAT under UEFA rules

    Scruples

Been there, done that Just ask Juju, his Dad still thinks he's Gay
  14. Always thought Phillips was crap to be honest, the only time he was ever any good was when he was partnered with Niall Quinn who did all the hard work for him. We don't have any Niall Quinns up front for us so I REALLY can't see the point. He's no better than we have and I don't think he will suit our style of play plus hes getting on a bit too
  15. We never even bothered getting married, whats the point? Piece of paper, a few toasters and a bloody expensive party where there will no doubt be a fight - can't see the point in it, I'm not that insecure And on the topic in hand, even if we did eventually find a reason to get married (the tax break isn't significant enough to turn a profit these days) there's no way I'm getting the missus to change her name, in fact I'd insist she keeps her own name just for the hilarity of it. Her name is Winifred (always shortened to Wyn) Mills. Sorry but she'll have to live with that one for life And on a serious note, why would you insist on your spouse changing her name, to me that kind of implies some kind of male dominated ownership of the woman - bit old fashioned in this day and age if you ask me.
  16. No, he's not, he's nothing like eMule Heskey at all, he can run into the box without falling over And in all seriousness, I don't think they are the same type of player at all, one is skillful and slight, the other bases his game on power and athleticism (did I just say that :? ) I still think you ae talking about a different Smith
  17. I vote Southampton for the following reasons (1) I'd have voted Olbeyan if it wasn't for the fact they have the GIT as manager, my hatred for that man runs too deep for me to want them to stay up (2) Crystal Palace - I really really really hate Selhurst Park. Its a twunt of a ground to get to, so they can go (3) Norwich - Delia Smith is probably the TV cook I hate the most and again its a bustard of a ground to get to so they can go aswell Guess that means I want Southampton to stay, probably because some of the Outlaws live there and it means I can treat the missus to a weekend at her Dads and Sisters every now and then (and Pompey can stay up too as that gives me two bites of the cherry)
  18. Which Smith is that you're talking about? The 5ft 8inch (1.78m) dwarf that picks splinters out of the Old Trafford bench or is there another one thats Crouchesque in height that only you and Sven have noticed
  19. Had he not started his job in that position? He always had the benefit of the doubt with me. This will either be his crowning moment or his downfall imo
  20. Hmmm lots of unrest and much speculation about not renewing season tickets and suddenly this "substantial spending plan" is hatched an admission that season ticket prices will have to increase (we knew this already in our hearts we can't stay being the cheapo club in the prem forever). That makes me suspicious in itself, as usual ITSOTP. This interview will be the making or breaking of Langhams reputation with the fans, either he comes up with the goods this summer for DOL and he's ok in my eyes, if he fails he gets pushed into a corner labelled "£lies lapdog" AS usual ITSOTP
