Not really Daz, the numbers of spoiled ballots are recorded. And thus validate the electoral system non voters dont need to be recorded, unless a simple x-y is beyond the scope of some people. Total electorate minus total votes cast equals those totally disaffected with current system in some shape or form

I think that depends upon whether you think the system itself is a valid one. If you consider it to be an invalid system, what is the point in validating it by using it? Me I'll probably be spoiling my ballot, I usually do. But I can see why others may think that participating in a system even to the limited degree of spoiling your ballot gives some sort of credence to that system. They still have a right to an opinion

Not sure I can answer, I know who I hate the most but that would be the same for 90% of us reckon. When all added up I reckon the Baggies, never really minded them at all. Started to dislike Wolves when they bought Andy Gray. I don't care about Cov but dislike them because of the bile they send our way and Alan Buckley always irritated the hell out of me for some unknown reason. So I'll plump tentatively for the baggies

Overglazed by the Breeders thanks to the new genius thing in itunes You know you get loads of albums together from well you know the er big album shop in the sky and you put them in your itunes library, thinking I'll get round to listening to that and in reality you listen to a few tracks once Well the genius thing is great for bringing you back round to songs in your library that you should have listened to and haven't (it also plays some shit at you but ultimately thats your fault for having it there in the first place) So I'm liking the genius thing because it does that and it reminded me to listen to the Breeders album and that track is quite good so its gets uped a notch on the star rating which will bring it into the scope of my smart playlists that run off the star ratings, so it'll now get played again so whilst I've ben typing this the genius has gone from the breeders to:- Sing for the Submarine from the latest REM album Accelerate, which as a song probably falls into the same categoy as the breeders and will be upped a star

I shall play it again a few times, reminds me of something - cant put my finger on it just now .... Kind of Neil Young meets a few other bands

Now I'm listening to my current favourite Talking Heads track - The Good Thing from More Songs about Buildings and Food

I tried again yesterday to listen to it and I think I got as far as track 4 or 5, just doesnt grab me at all right now I'm listening to Techno Pop fro the Electric Cafe by Kraftwerk and so far the album is confirming everything I said about Kraftwerk but thats a discussion for somewhere else

I really don't understand why seemingly intelligent people like this album. Anyway right now, its Starlings by ELbow.
