Not all of them are, only some iirc. Thats why the Revenue wanted to call Jafffa cakes biscuits because they were chcocolate coated they were classsed as luxury biscuits and were taxable, biscuits without chocolate were staple biscuits and exempt but all cakes were exempt - hence the now famous court case where the revenue wasted gawd knows how many thousands of our pounds trying to prove a cake was not a cake

And others obviously also lack reading comprehension because the revenues point was that a Pringle was a potato snack not a crisp, so I can see their point too, it is a snack food and it is made from potato ;-)

Obviously its a crisp. But on the other point if something is made of sponge and has a chocolate and fruit topping it is clearly a cake, as the courts eventually correctly ruled much to the ire of Her Mag's revenue boys But proctor and gamble having to pay the govt millions of quids amuses me greatly

You can't have an iphone on a T-Mobile tariff as T-mobile dont do the iphone. I can't see why it would be t-mobile blocking the phone, be no skin off their nose, its just network useage which incurs a charge I presume. O2 and Apple are more likely to block as they are the ones that have signed the exclusivity deal and they are the ones with the vested interest to block the phone as they aren't making any money out of the airtime

Never actually tried it, never wanted to try it. It's on a loser from a marketing perspective straight away, the actual name Dr Pepper conjures up the thought of medicine but not just medicine but the kind of snake oil medicine you always see being sold by traveling salesmen in cowboy movies. So there you go, that's why I've never tried it

Don't know where you heard that Den but apparently Apple make as much money from one iPhone sale as Hewlett Packard do from ten Laptop sales. The profit on the iphone is vast apparently, so 20m pieces of vastness means its making serious money for Apple, they don't need to drop the price because of bad sales, they are coining it in, in fact Apple rarely ever price drop because of anything other than imminent updated hardware. Their strategy is all about keeping the price high (and increasingly so if you look at their recent announcements re new computers)
