Just returned from my hols so, I took five books away with me
Merseybeast - Ian McNabb - Self penned Biog, Interesting, some definite factual inaccuracies (I know, I was there), some distortion of the truth (ditto) and shit because I never got a mention (probably because he lost the race on the M602)) - Opel Manta vs Bedford Minibus, the minibus wins!) - actually it was a decent read for me, but I was kinda on the periphery of the story anyway.....
Damned United - Great Novel. couldn't put it down. Makes me want to read a real Clough Biog, still not seen the film, not sure I want to either
Some book by Mark Radcliffe, Disjointed tales of his life as a DJ...........OKish
Narrow Dog to Carcassone - If I hadn't been reading it in France, I'm not sure I would have found it that amusing, blokes writing style got on my tits after a while
The Latest John Le Carre book, cant put it down, well worth a read
