  1. Is this some reference to my PC?
  2. Well to be fair the NFU did try to tell them but in the end iirc someone did some research and worked out that the Farmers voting for Brexit were pretty much aligned 50/50 with the rest of the population and it was the big farmers that voted for and the smaller ones against Fishermen, however....
  3. I kept stuff for the first 2 months. Bin all the way since then
  4. You should check out Tetrak's - Let's Get Started which is the album that Eastman Dub is dubbed from, also very good.
  5. Which family? He's been with his mother and grandfather and not his grandmother. His mother and grandfather are obviously hippie basket cases which is why the grandmother is his legal guardian but it's not like there's any suggestion he's been abused (apart from the odd jobs for food and lodging)
  6. I work with some absolute weapons My desk this morning Words removed
  7. I thought the latest JRM quote was shit my hedge fund went down the pan (cos it did)
  8. The Times are claiming that the latest Rwanda setback is that they can’t get a plane to take people to Rwanda as no-one wants the reputational damage (inc the Ministry of Defence according to article) Edit: I should say, they absolutely will get a plane from somewhere but amusing nonetheless.
  9. I have no idea why the BBC thought it a good idea to broadcast an interview with people that are subject to a criminal investigation. Not only that but these people seem unwilling to be in the UK right now, why is that? So they've shelled out for Laura K to go to them on what looks like a rather edited piece, who had the final say on what was broadcast? It’s fairly outrageous, that interview. The whole thing is just at best poorly advised, at worst an attempt to derail a potential investigation.
  10. Hate to tell you this… but she’s not a keeper
  11. Each to their own an all that but as pizza goes, it’s shite I like pizza, just no domino’s
  12. no matter what you buy it all tastes like a domino pizza, there’s a particular taste in there, in everything they do Its a bit like that Subway smell, it’s just a bit wrong I reckon that particular taste is some form of artificially created addictive substance in the same pool as those things like Aspartame or whatever sugar substitute they put in diet drinks these days
  13. Oliver Dowden is such a shit politician, I'm not talking about his politics, just his delivery and ability under questioning. Going bright red a number of times when questioned by the lame Trevor Phillips and the answers he gives off the cuff are sometimes woeful. Just on the whole Gary Lineker “debate”, “I think people should stick to their lane”… really? Leave the politics to the politicians? Is that the message you really wanted to get across?
  14. I was looking for a playlist I made in Spotify years ago and I came across a Berlin School Mix made by Spotify for me. Oh I’ll have a listen to that. Lesser know Kraftwerk, Faust, Ashra …. Wait what, Jean Michel Jarre. It’s like it was put together by Craig Charles.
  15. It’s classic everyone should be like me ism. I do this, so everyone who doesn’t is wrong! The wearing of socks, however, should be compulsory
  16. Why don’t you hear people say for example, there’s an argument to say I shouldn’t have to pay full price for Spotify because I don’t listen to the podcasts or I only want to pay for Netflix original content and not the other stuff, or even reduce my price because I don't watch the documentaries, or hell even SKY TV and only add the individual channels you want at a price per channel? I'd gladly drop a few quid to get rid of the podcasts on Spotify for example. But no-one ever brings that up as an argument, they just pay the fee?
  17. To be honest, I live a 4 minute walk from a station and the office is similar at the other end. Even if I’m going into town I get the bus or train these days unless what is being purchased needs a car In my experience most people get cabs because they are pissed / have too much stuff to carry / public transport doesn’t go in the right places or takes forever. Buses here are ok if you live in one of the arterial routes into the city but wanting to go somewhere other than the city and it can be hell. We have this bus, the 61, it starts about half a mile up the road from me and ends in Bootle after 2 hours of going all over the place. We call it after that album by a shite local band from them 60s. But round by me very few people use cabs because we have the bus and the train and the buses are very frequent because it’s the airport route
  18. The bits I've heard seem to be a reasonable pastiche of some of their great tunes. So much so I wouldn’t be shocked to find out that some sort of AI was involved in the writing.
  19. Please tell me that this is a typo I thought the Stones album was new music?
