  1. Oh I’m not against them (even though they are massively overpriced tat) I’m just against me having to go out and source them and the inevitable text discussions from the shop about which ones to buy
  2. Sure it’s a gimmick to boost sales but they aren’t taking a hit at that price, probably still breaking even. still compared to £60 for a single Talking Heads album….
  3. Shhh, keep the noise down, she's not bought any this year and if I get sent out on a mission to find crackers this late on I'm going to blame you
  4. That is so 2017, it’s all about duck-billed platypus fat at the minute
  5. I don’t see how it protects against a price drop. He started the season at 14.0 rose to 14.1 at one stage dropped to 14.0. I sold last week at 14.0 where I bought in preseason. Lost nothing. He’s now already dropped to 13.9 so if I buy him back I’ve already liberated 0.1 to use elsewhere. Moving forward to AfCon and Asian tournament I’m going to have to keep hold of Son and Salah unless I want them gone for good because the price differential is too great to get back when they return so I’m attempting to build some wiggle room into my defence and attack to allow me to get 11 players on the pitch in those gameweeks
  6. I wouldn't be shocked to see Moreno start instead of Digne I'd also be not shocked to see Konsa / Carlos / Lengelet as a three with Moreno in that inverted role on the left
  7. fairy nuff then, don't do a Boris and factory reset
  8. I believe after all that time this would be an offence under the 2006 fraud act, that replaced the old offence of obtaining goods and services by deception. You are aware that someone else is paying for this service that you are benefiting from and it's within your purview to stop it by telling them not to turn up.
  9. Plenty on the shelves last night
  10. Shit that smells nice? Eau de Goebells?
  11. Duck or goose, pity the poor vegetable heads with their inferior roasties
  12. Coulda shoulda bah Wordle 915 4/6*
  13. Good job I haven’t done my list yet… final purchase of the year Reset in Dub. A dub version of the Panda Bear and Sonic Boom album Reset by the godlike dub genius of Adrian Sherwood As a fan of the very Beach Boys influenced original album and with AMS at the controls it was always going to be a winner with me. I’ve had to settle for the CD though as the vinyl is like rocking horse shit oop norf
  14. Was tempted but live an all that (plus I have no idea how much the missus is going overspend this week)
  15. Right so the missus remarked that we had no Xmas records. I put that straight today and bought this. Originally released in 2002 on CD. First time on vinyl and all proceeds to Warchild. And here’s the best bit, a double album, pressed on that trendy coloured vinyl, never been released on this format before…. £16.99 It absolutely can be done
  16. You are almost correct, I really try not to know the neighbours who are also never in, I have no garden, the bins are round the back of the flats and not accessible to van driving oiks, and yes, I am rarely in. I go to work, I go home, I have my tea, I go out again most nights for a couple of hours, I come home and I got to bed. Even with an account, we only do it for stuff that can be delivered on a Sunday
  17. And if they did, it wouldn't be on Prime and it would cost significantly more than in a shop Which reminds me, I haven't actually done my album list yet
  18. So I could go out of my way to a locker? Have a word with yourself You've just argued about not making unnecessary journeys
  19. Its like you didn't read the bit about shops being on my direct route home, there is no parking to pay. Join this queue for 2 minutes or wait in at home for 4 hours? What is this delusion?
  20. What part of £2.99 is more expensive than £3.79 to stop at a shop that is on my way home? And then I have to wait in for somebody to deliver it? It really is a case of the Emperors New Clothes
  21. I just wish Maggie Thatcher could die all over again, it was a top night out
  22. Its all overpriced for what I buy Amazon is not cheap here's an example for you. 100 Nitrile gloves are about £6.99 on there. (the Prime ones) You can buy them in Home Bargains for £2.99 The idea that Amazon is cheap on everything is false
  23. I don't have an Amazon account either The missus does It's very rare I order anything from there though, generally overpriced for what I buy
