Christ it’s getting dark earlier and earlier, the missus has just said it’s half an hour to Christmas dinner so it must be about half two and it’s pitch black outside

So the Xmas game is about to begin (we buy a new game each year) This year it’s some Scandi Trivia game called Bezzerwizzer. I shall endeavour to do my utmost to win (even though they’ve already played it last night to gain an advantage) The turkey has only just gone in (late food that was meant to be early is also traditional )

My daughter bought me two tickets for a photography exhibition I want to go to but the best thing about it is, it’s the day my Sister-in-Law thinks she’s spending the day with us. She won’t want to pay to get in so she'll have to f***off to Southport to the Bro-in-Laws earlier than she expects. Its the details that matter, my daughter is very thoughtful and the best.

Another Hipgnosis album cover. Apparently the cover of 1, 2 and 3 at least came out of the recycle bin, they were all proposals for other artists and they sold the idea to Gabriel as original ideas He only discovered this later on

Sourdough toast with chicken liver pate for my first food of the day. Mainly because the others aren’t up yet and I don’t know what food items are allocated to what purpose / day and the CLP is definitely a me only item in this house. Toast and pate isn’t that unusual a breakfast for me anyway but the purpose is to put something in my stomach before I have an espresso martini in a while. I'm also enjoying the free use of the living room to listen to some music whilst I can
