  1. This isn't true though is it, in fact the bit it wanted isn't either, they wanted the whole country and got as far as Hostomel on the borders of Kyiv, they were in Kherson on the right bank of the Dnipro both of those have been more than penetrated, they've been regained in their entirety. Then there was the push on the Eastern Front that pushed Russia all the way back from Kharkiv. So the barely penetrated line is just demonstrably untrue
  2. The longer it goes on, the more quickly they'll become extinct. It'll just accelerate the death spiral further.
  3. He was plain John when he first played for Wales, he only became known as JPR later on because Wales also had another John Williams in the team a few years later, so they became JPR and JJ respectively. IIRC correctly from that Baa Baas game, the commentators just called him Williams
  4. No, it was the Barbarians. North Midlands would have been a County Championship team, Sam Doble would have played for them and they would usually play at The Reddings (Moseley's old ground) who were also Doble's team, In fact I think the North Midlands team was usually primarily Moseley players. Moseley was a comparatively successful and large Rugby Club at the time, an absolute travesty of management that they ended up as lowly as they are today.
  5. Best game of rugby from the amateur era in my opinion and it was a friendly between a touring side and an invitational 15 played as a wind down match at the end of the All Blacks tour. Absolutely nothing at stake except pride
  6. Yep, only club team he played for
  7. Nah, I’d put him third behind Gareth Edwards and Phil Bennett You could probably put David Duckham into the mix for England
  8. I've spotted a flaw in this theory
  9. This was the shoulder barge that JPR did on Jean-Francois Gourdon in 1976 that saved the game for Wales and enabled them to win the Grand Slam. The Man was as hard as nails, he was also a very good orthopaedic surgeon Wales Online
  10. What about the minesweepers we were giving to Ukraine?
  11. It sounds like you have spare Mrs Sidcow's stashed somewhere
  12. IIRC its a Sunak publicity shot from last summer when he visited his local party for some event. It was derided at the time for much the same reasons as it is now
  13. Can’t see what all the fuss is about….. complete fluke tbh Wordle 934 2/6
  14. Like the reporting software that ANPR cameras use to issue private parking invoices. I deal with those daily, now I can prove that the cars weren’t there the whole time, I often wonder now many other people can prove they didn’t leave their car in that location over the allotted time. In fact I've thought of a new strategy to deal with these scumbags today but hey that’s a completely different computer says / private prosecution conversation.
  15. It really should stop the judiciary believing “computer says no”
  16. Nah raw onion is ok, spring onions or red onions in a salad, white onions in a cheese and onion sandwich…
  17. Every company and person in the land has the ability to take out a private prosecution, which is what the PO we’re doing.
  18. Welsh rugby legend JPR Williams gone at 74
  19. It’s owned by the government. 100% Government owned
  20. … associated to that why do the government keep saying it shouldn’t just be the taxpayer that foots the bill? Are they going to make Fujitsu pay?
