  1. the 2024 inflate the price of vinyl event list is up now At least three I saw that I want Also the usual junk. Seriously who wants Kim Wilde (the Disco Mixes) or a Picture Disc of Fleetwood Mac's Rumours, more live albums than you can shake a microphone at. Das Koolies remix EP for Chris. Not really interested in the Soul Jazz offerings this year, shocked there's no Psyche France 9 Anyone interested in the early British Roots reggae scene, I'd recommend the the Bristol Roots Explosions album (I already have it) Even The Space Lady is in on the action this year The three I definitely want are the Goat soundtrack as I heard a track ages ago and absolutely loved it, The liminanas / David Menke soundtrack and the Prince Far I - double LP, the Dub Syndicate release is below par IMO
  2. The Party know they've lost all the behind scenes manoeuvring is about who replaces him when he eventually resigns after the inevitable defeat. If there's one thing they party are fairly united on, it's that replacing him before the election won't help (apart from the odd dimwit). Trouble is, none of them can guarantee they'll have a seat any more
  3. I get that absolutely,, people have different tolerances for different events I might have considered it differently if it was Beth Gibbons getting Portishead back together
  4. @BOFyou just reminded me to try and buy Beth Gibbons tickets which went on sale today.... £50 (well almost) for a standing gig at the real Albert Hall in Manchester... I'm out, not a chance I'm going to pay that
  5. Pretty sure I'm considered a Starmerite, as it currently stands I'm voting LibDem
  6. banging your head on the way out of the car is a schoolboy error.
  7. Ah that reminds me, broke a few ribs the very last time I played football. I would have been around 45, if you can imagine the most ungraceful central defender of the kick them first and take the ball later variety with all the grace of a baby elephant on ice scoring a perfectly timed flying volley that went in off the underside of the bar... yep that was me, my landing on astroturf, however, f***ing hurt, hurt so much I never played a second of football ever again. ... and to be fair, I went out right at the top of my game, I was never going to be capable of repeating that goal
  8. First Idles album I’m interested in. Nigel Goddich producing has changed the sound and made them less ranty
  9. Your PE teacher seems a bit of word removed making you run that far every day
  10. You’ve been in my cab haven’t you , you tight arsed bastard
  11. I just can't see who to buy to replace Palmer THIS week tbh, Liverpool players - I don't want a third, I can't get to Saka and consider the rest of the Arsenal midfield to be too hit and miss. I'd like Maddison but that would be after the blank. Bowen is ... well Wet Spam are currently awful... everywhere I look I go nah..
  12. The tie bit isn't important, the rest of the crest stuff is already known and fan groups have already raised it with the FA, that's just a cherry on top on an existing known issue
  13. That's for the board to decide, they'll have the evidence, if they decide to look, so will Companies House because the allegation was that Hutton set up the company and if there was no tendering process (as alleged) that is a highly dubious practice. How would an employee report that to the board when for it to get to the board it would have to go through Heck and Hutton?
  14. Was it this article in the New York Times from his time at NY Red Bulls?
  15. Haaland TC yes most definitely If only because you'll lose out massively if he hauls as an awful lot of players are doing just that On Palmer, I think you're point is very valid and if I can afford a suitable replacement I may use my other FT this week on just that.
  16. ... the same day that Biden made his enemy of America speech about Trump... total coincidence... on the same day that Johnson might have put the Aid bill to Ukraine in... total coincidence
  17. I don't expect tips when I'm out in the cab, I think we charge a decent rate that balances competitively cheap with perfectly good income for the driver vs cost/time. People still insist on giving me extra though, well those paying by cash do, its much rarer for those paying by card I'm not a big fan of tip culture anyway but I do tend to do it in the pub I go to regularly but that's about it
  18. The tie thing isn't important, we know from what has happened at FABs that the correct process hasn't been followed, he's tried to bend what a consultation document says (in fact it says the opposite of what he's claimed), he's tried to get the new crest in without the approval of the fans and the FAB, which is again against the FA/Premier League rules. Most of that is documented by Scot for VT and all the other FAB representatives. The tie, meh who cares if that tiny snippet is true or not, I sort of hop it is because its just more evidence of shat was already known and has been argued.
  19. That isn't what is going on here. Fans are recognised stakeholders in the club as per FA Rules. Club crests cannot be changed without consultation and approval from the FABs of clubs. That didn't happen as it should have done because Heck thought so little of the process, in fact he completely ignored the process and tried to impose it on the fans
  20. The new crest thing is pretty much all fact, it's nothing new, most of it was already out there
