  1. Do you not realise how much Galloway can achieve in however many months it is when he can legitimately say he’s an elected member of the British parliament. He’s scum
  2. LibDems have a ceasefire as their policy and were campaigning as such in Rochdale, still say you’d have voted for the terrorist / mass murderer sympathiser / fund raiser / propagandist / sycophant? Galloway is part of the problem not the solution
  3. Not this time, I seriously doubt there’s a genuine story out there that can save the Tories. They'll try but it won’t work
  4. Well yes quite, even if he was arrested for said offence, there will be a general election before it ever goes to trial. There’s also nothing he’d love more than the threat of legal action in a true Trump style to give him a new angle to campaign on in the next election.
  5. Tbh, it’s hardly a story. Sunak makes speech at podium outside No 10 and waffles shite about unspecified threats.
  6. He could always call an election if he thinks the country is a powder keg. It’s mostly him that’s causing that tension.
  7. And how could I forget… Into The Groove - Madonna
  8. How Soon Is Now by The Smiths 10:15 On A Saturday Night by The Cure Gloria by Them Fade Away And Radiate by Blondie The Man Who Sold The World by David Bowie Living Through Another Cuba by XTC Wherever I Lay My Hat (That’s My Home) by Marvin Gaye
  9. Slight aside, the double A was a pressing error and Going Underground was meant to be the B side
  10. No of course it isn’t, he'll only be there until the election and will probably only attend parliament to grandstand occasionally. But on the other hand people really should know who he is and what he’s about.
  11. Not having seen this Sunak nonsense, I'm presuming this has something to do with Rochdale electing a terrorist propagandist and fundraiser? Did he actually say the situation requires strong leadership? With a straight face? With no hint of irony?
  12. This is rather apocryphal, there zero evidence of the claim and indeed there are people that will tell you that the opposite is true in that it spread from Britain to the Baltic region. It’s also not an exclusively Liverpudlian dish either, there are similarly named variants in the potteries and North Wales. Most of the Baltic variants of the dish aren't even really stews. I doubt anyone will ever know tbh. It’s a load of fuss about beef stew
  13. Nah it’s a little bit stranger than that, it’s voting for the apologist of numerous murderous dictatorial maniacs on the grounds that he's on a particular side in a particular war. But not only is he in the side of the Palestinians, he’s closely associated with Hamas, when I say closely associated I mean publicly handing over bundles of cash to Hamas leaders and meeting high up Hamas “politicians.” So when Galloway says he supports the Palestinians, he really means he supports Hamas. Just like he supported Saddam Hussain and still support the Iranian regime and Vladimir Putin. People get duped by him but they really shouldn’t be, it’s in plain sight his support for a whole multiplex of murderous bastards. George Galloway is a word removed of the highest order.
  14. Hit the bar Wordle 986 3/6*
  15. The George Galloway, Putin Apologist Word Removed Party of George Galloway Meeeooow
  16. Probably needs to be more than 30 given that there are currently 19 independent MPs most whom probably wouldn’t vote to end their salary. 19 MPs who are currently not members of a party but were elected as such and given we've already had a good number of by-elections to get rid of a few bad eggs, that’s an awful lot of MPs losing the whip in one parliament (on both sides btw)
  17. Me and the missus both took today off to do some jobs around the flat. We also went out last night and both had a bit to drink. My procrastination today will last until the missus gets her act together, which in reality is likely to be tomorrow or the afternoon at the earliest.
  18. Well not quite, Labour wouldn’t be funding tax cuts with it. And neither does the public want them to. I think there was some research out in the last week or so that said the public would prefer to pay tax and get services not tax cuts
  19. Not sure of the relevance, seriously Starmer’s pledges aimed at Labour Party members over 4 years ago can’t possibly be relevant to anything today. Different audience, different circumstances
  20. Nah there have been plenty of I don’t know what Labour’s policies are posts here
  21. Smart move - in terms of the electorate, yes, probably but still too late AND Labour have telegraphed this move for not even months but years so won't be as effective as they imagine. They will undoubtedly get "stealing Labour Policy" thrown right back at them Dumb move - in terms of their donors and media support, it could even see money flowing to Reform. Also would definitely amplify the internal civil war in the party. Lord Ashcroft, Stuart Marks and all the other Tory Non-Dom Lords can hardly be ecstatic at the move
  22. We used to make our own pea shooters. There was this huge weed that grew in abundance by the railway lines, it had completely hollow stems, so you just broke the stem and used the strongest section. The key was picking one with the correct circumference. It was probably poisonous
