Music promotor Vince Power. Came to prominence with the Mean Fidler and them Dingwalls, Jazz cafe and others. Resurrected the Reading Festival and staged others. He was a bit of a legend and he was probably the second biggest influence on festival culture after Michael Eavis.

I also read over the weekend that Tump is very short on donors right now and the Biden campaign is relatively flush. Traditional GOP big donors that supported him previously are shying away in big numbers partly because he’s Trump (and his baggage) and partly because they know he’ll be throwing it at lawyers to defend himself.

If anyone can watch that London politics prog that comes on directly after Laura K on a Sunday, it really does have a good comedy moment. One Labour MP and one Tory MP, both women plus the interviewer. The interviewer is talking to the Labour woman about extremism, the Labour MP mentions Lee Anderson in passing, not really a major point and the Tory MP just blurts out "He was Wrong" as soon as the words Lee Anderson triggers her, she wasn't even being spoken to or speaking at the time, it was all very Pavlovian

The amount of times I had to follow those bands at the early doors thrash gig with a students Indie Schmindie night on a Friday at Planet X …. Turn up early, watch the devastation and have absolutely nothing to play to them

Dunno about this month but there’s still quite a few active bands on there, Ozrics, Here and Now, UK Subs (despite Charlie Harper being 125 x still doing festivals), Blythe Power, Macc Lads and I think Oi Polloi are still going too. So the punks and the hippies

Actually this is the first full week I've worked since before Xmas with more short weeks to come before Easter! Got at least 2 possibly 5 more days to use before the end of the month
