  1. Just found a frog in our courtyard (for reference it’s at basement level and is surrounded by at least 10ft walls on every side) It obviously needed to be caught and released into safety elsewhere as I doubt the common frog has fire escape climbing abilities. I deal with swiftly and release it into the back gardens of the flats. The missus doesn’t believe me when I said I did touch it (she thinks it’s poisonous and will get in my veins) The missus is also convinced it came from the drains (yes she googled it ), me I think it fell in Shes now petrified that monster frogs are going to invade the flat through the toilets Here's the little thing anyway….
  2. I think you're missing the Tory / Small Cock reference
  3. I know you have nowt better to do than have crumpet but you actually pressed play on a video entitled - 10 Hours of Paint Drying
  4. Twice this year I think (Mon - Fri)
  5. But that is exactly how the honeytrap works, it relies on a victim not going to the police because they have something on them that will embarrass them Yes he should have acted differently but so should everyone that is a victim of a similar crime but they don't. You can't judge Wragg differently to other victims because he's a Tory MP
  6. I can help you recapture the excitement...
  7. I'm not sure that tweets gives the correct impression of what went on in this instance. Essentially Wragg is a victim of a crime in this instance (there are other victims too). I'm really not sure this is an event that should be levelled against the Tories or this government That tweet is biased nonsense.
  8. it gives amateurs a bad name
  9. Bad one for me this one. Legendary drummer Keith Le Blanc has passed away. Now as much as he was part of the On-U Sound set up and Tackhead he was also with Skip McDonald and Doug Wimbish the core nucleus of the studio musicians behind the Sugarhill label in other words Grand Master Flash et al. All three were together as that unit for 4 years before moving to the UK as a unit and becoming part of the On-U stable He had a minor hit with No Sell Out which is credited as being the first Hip Hop tune to sample Malcolm X and one of the very first to use the sample based cut up technique from the dialogue of others. A record that was absolutely ground breaking. He also made a similar record during the Miners Strike and donated all proceeds to the miners. To say he shaped the direction of early Hip Hop is not hyperbolic and later started pushing the boundaries of his Hip Hip beats with projects such as DJ Spike and others by pushing Hip Hop in an industrial direction Sad for me as Tackhead had reformed recently and I missed seeing them For me, this is an all time classic
  10. You should check out Teresa Villiers latest doublespeak pronouncement. Pure thick (of it)
  11. Sorry speak up I can't hear you
  12. You are part of a group that has all the advantages, that advantage is very often the oppression. You can't help it, you as an individual can't do that much about it but it exists
  13. That website you quoted has this as it's last paragraph (and conclusion)
  14. There is no such thing, its a fiction invented by right wing imbeciles. It's just an expression like Right on! or Very PC of you! or more specifically with Stay Woke, keep being aware of injustice. The idea that it has a philosophy behind it, is as silly as there being a philosophy behind Don't let the bastards drag you down or Keep on keeping on! I can show you ludicrous articles that refer to wokeism as referring to critical theory, Derrida and Foucault etc. Really? a word whose origins are in African American vernacular from the mid 20th century has its roots in 18th century political philosophy? Its a ludicrous notion. Used the way you've used it, it is most definitely a pejorative term Please spare us the oppressed white man nonsense. Its just the white lives matter stupidity again There we go again, more use of the pejorative woke and now you're even equating it to be non-white. Why wouldn't white men agree that they are part of a group that oppress other people, white men in most western societies really do have all the privileges
  15. Yep, fairly incendiary, energy, passion and a crowd of people pogoing in time to music, saw them a couple of times at the Brum Odeon and recently went to see the current version (i.e. Jake Burns and some musicians) and he was still good value running through the hits EDIT: thinking on, I probably saw them a few times in Liverpool at the Royal Court too (definitely the Bruce Foxton version at least twice)
  16. Thats the drone factory if we're splitting hairs
  17. Idles - Tangk As someone who wasn't particularly a fan of their over shouty previous output (but liked the idea of them), I find myself listening to this a lot these days Nigel Godrich's influence on the production definitely means its something I listen to in the house whereas with their previous stuff I really wouldn't have. Big tick from me for this album, I see it as a complete step change for them
  18. FIle under Chas and Dave roll out the barrel knees up your mothers brown arse
  19.
