    Weather...

BBC weather went down the pan when they stopped using the Met Office and signed a deal with a commercial operation MeteoGroup in about 2018 iirc I still use the Met Office, far far better than the BBC
  2. Also confusingly there are reports that talks broke down due to Hamas refusing to accept certain conditions
  3. Talk of Trump and Truth Social being in a lot of trouble both with the sharp decline in the share price and Trump talking it up to shore up the share price with false claims
  4. Doesn’t look anywhere near as good as the roast beef dinner I had in there last weekend, that was superb
  5. You obviously don't realise this joke is about as funny as a dose of the clap, so just so you do know, its about as funny as a dose of the clap
  6. They are actually credited with 5 military victories in that time
  7. They wouldn't have told you if they suspected it was true, they’d just have closed the account on you
  8. Have you ever read up on the history of the canal and railway systems of the UK? It really wasn’t that important in the development of either.
  9. It was a few years ago and we’d won a couple of hundred quid on a lottery ticket. I just didn’t want to be walking around with the extra cash on me. It was just amusing because had the machine been working, I could have paid it in with the card but no, go to a human and… there’s different rules I do think it’s the only time I’ve been into a bank on personal business for a very long time and that branch is now shut! You can’t pay cash in on an app
  10. Have you ever tried to pay cash into someone else’s bank account I tried to pay money into my missus' account, in her branch, knowing all her details and they wanted all kinds of ID from me which I didn’t have on me as I wasn’t expecting the Spanish Inquisition, so had to go back to the office to get my ID. So much easier with her card and doing it at the machine (which was out of order)
  11. It’s quite revealing to me how skewed the left wing twitter buffoons are. Consensus seems to be that The Wragg issue (where he’s essentially a victim) is more important than Dowden covering up a rape allegation. Twitter as ever is full of imbeciles
  12. His history speaks for itself, he is not now nor ever has been unbiased Even when he was having a pop at Johnson, that was only because they hated each other when Robinson was Chairman of the Oxford Uni Tories (which also puts him as a contemporary of Osborne and Cameron)
  13. Since she came back after mourning the death of her father a switch appears to have been flicked in LK, it’s like she sat at home and watched Vic Derbyshire get a huge load of plaudits for sitting in her chair and realised that she has serious competition on the bench. And of course she may also have realised how f***ed the Tories actually are but anyway that’s all for another topic… Like I said, I really can't believe the BBC would have let her ask that question without seeing the evidence and LK even stated that she'd seen it herself.
  14. Laura K may just have skewered Oliver Dowden over previously lying over a cover up over Tory MP accused of sexual offences. He stated in November on her show that he didn’t recognise any talk of a cover up. LK claimed she’d seen evidence that this wasn’t true as both him and someone I’ve instantly forgotten were both in knowledge of the incident. Dowden was clearly blindsided by the question and visibly furious. Also stated a number of times that if anyone had evidence of this they should go to the police. I just can’t see the BBC allowing the questioning line without having seen the evidence. Could be quite amusing in the coming days
  15. Something of an irritation with regards to the word Wordle 1,023 4/6*
  16. Taxi dispatch algorithms The topography of Merseyside (excluding the Wirral) and I mean in a way that I’d beat any taxi driver with 30 years experience in a topographical knowledge test. Routes naming nearly every street, mileages the lot. I really do have this uncanny ability above what you’d expect given my job, in fact this is one of my abilities that for where I am today
  17. RIP Keith Le Blanc Stranger than Fiction
  18. Rod Stewart is a Roderick (not that I expect you’ve met him) Given the sheer amount of famous people with either name, they can’t be that uncommon
  19. Managed 56 points and dropped a few thousand places, no biggie. Climbed from 8th to 6th in my money league despite the red arrows elsewhere which was good. Very pleased that my bench kicked in for Haaland and Saka (Sarabia and Johnny Evans) I brought in the cursed Lascelles on my WC and had zero in the bank so rolled last GW and now I think my plan is Udogie and Lascelles out for Hall and Ait-Nouri But captaincy is now a real issue, I have too many to choose from Haaland, Son, Palmer, Salah, Isak, Darwin & Saka. I'm currently thinking Palmer for tomorrow but that could easily change
