  1. Well that would have fallen flat because much greater EU integration is clearly what most people actually want. Both main parties are in complete denial over the issue
  2. It’s currently the will of a dwindling amount of people.Public sentiment is very much of a different opinion now. Labour could have said nothing or we’ll look at it if we win the election or similar but no, they rejected it before Sunak The Tories are killing their core vote and Labour seem to want to alienate their own
  3. Meanwhile a person has set himself on fire outside the courthouse in NY just as jury selection was complete. These MAGAs are mentally ill
  4. So the EU made an offer of a reciprocal four year visa for young people aged 18-30 to live and work in the EU. Sunak and the Tories rejected it… so did Labour LibDems thought it was a good idea. Gives me absolutely no confidence in Labour fixing our Brexit problem. Just makes me more and more likely to vote LibDem tbh
  5. Saved me the effort of rereading what I'd started to type. Yep agree totally.
  6. Sort of yes but sort of no as well. What Israel did was pick targets that wasn’t going to kick the whole thing off. Iran knows it can’t win conventionally and it can’t do what it tried to do with the massive attack it launched because Israel has the Iron Dome and support from allies. Iran doesn’t have anything close to the Iron Dome and knows if Israel chose to retaliate in proportion that they'd get flattened. Israel just did enough to point a few home truths out to Iran, especially with the talk of people on the ground assisting the Israelis (how true that is I have no idea but Iran seemingly believe it). It seems to be that Iran are sort of backing down now but trying not to lose face, they'll go back to the proxy wars again.
  7. Sunak really is trying to kill the Tory Party. Which demographic do you reckon this will affect the most? People with cancer and the disabled are generally stacked at the older end of the demographic spectrum, you know, the ones that actually still vote for them. And then of course there the question… who on earth is going to vote for a party that takes away their sickness benefit? How many court cases do you reckon will come out of this? How many unions are going launch cases against this? (Like all of them) He'll never get this done in this parliament (look how long Rwanda has taken and that isn’t over yet),I can see huge rebellion in the Lords, because… they are mainly old, so I can only presume this is going to be one of the main tenets of their manifesto. Given the Union connection with Labour, there’s absolutely no way they'll allow Labour to run with their support if Labour don’t oppose it. If he’s trying to pick an issue to set the Tories and Labour apart, he'll succeed but he'll absolutely be in the wrong side of public opinion in doing so. I have to question if they are that detached from reality and can only come to the conclusion that yes they are.
  8. The spelling of Dudley in the Doomsday Book is Dudelei, it was named after a land owner called Duddah and the -ly (-lei) part means clearing in the woods (not word filtered)
  9. It seems Sturgeon's husband has now been arrested and charged with embezzling SNP funds
  10. Wouldn't touch her with a barge pole (unless it was to push her off a cliff)

  12. About time someone on a TV station stopped letting them get away with this inflation line
  13. So the rumour is that it was a suitcase, a suitcase that looked like a bomb,, in fact a suitcase that deliberately looked like a bomb... because it was the suitcase they use for training of such incidents, that was accidentally left on the aircraft
  14. At least he’s awake today
  15. Its my plan too but I keep looking at my potential team and there's that thought in the back of my head that says disaster awaits
  16. Why did you wait 30 years? We only beat them in December, hell even at the Library we beat them as recently as 2020. In fact since the first lockdown we've beaten them 5 times in 9 matches
