Tactically better? Yes Do his teams show more fight? Yes Do opposing teams hate going to Stoke? Yes Obviously I'd love Guardiola to come here and make us play like Barcelona but that isn't gonna happen. We need to be realistic. With the players we have, we need a Pulis.

Any ambitious player would jump ship from Villa. Would not be grudge him at all even if he put a transfer request in now.

What is this myth about Lambert's team playing attacking football. Throwing 5 men up top to run around aimlessly does not constitute an attacking philosophy in my opinion.

Bannan is a good player for the level we are at. Technical player with the ability to unlock a defence.

This is brilliant from Lambert. He is creating a siege mentality attitude which is a tactic that one of the greatest managers in the game uses (Jose). Obviously with the players he has been given he is not performing to the level of a Mourinho but I think if Lerner was to give him £80m tonight he could rescue us from this mess.

Hi guys, I've just purchased a new Packard Bell TE11 (ok packard bell is rubbish and all that) but it was cheap and a decent spec for my needs. Now to my surprise I switched it on and was confronted with the message; 'Windows could not complete the installation. To install windows on this computer, restart the installation.' This message appears in a boot loop and there seems no way past it. To make matters worse there is no recovery CD included. Any ideas? (Please no get linux/ubuntu, windows is rubbish posts)

The first half was delightful. I would like to think this is what a Lambert team is all about. So much possession and flair but then they scored and it was a different game.

We were NEVER going to beat Swansea or Chelsea so for me this will eventually be a blessing in disguise so that we can focus our efforts 100% on finishing 17th. -

I would think that reason alone would tilt it considerably in their favour. After all who would you want to play for, a team with the likes of Cabaye, Debuchy, Ben Arfa or Bennett, Westwood and Holman?

It is only a matter of time before they pick up a few wins on the trot given the calibre of players already in their team (and the ones they will acquire). Prey tell me what calibre of players will enable us to string some draws together let alone victories?
