Look if we had better players sure Adama would be well down the pecking order, but when we have the likes of Richardson and Sinclair occupying attacking positions then its a no brainer to select Adama when you are as hopeless as we are.
So he didn't create a goal against Palace, he didn't nearly score with his first few touches against Arsenal? Not bad for someone runs down blind alleys and has barely had an opportunity.
But does he offer things that are possibly so much better than everyone else? Most definitely.
Therefore should he start in a team that is incapable of winning games? Most definitely.
There was a moment yesterday when he attempted a pass to Gestede. Sure it wasnt a great pass but Rudy's lack of movement was hilarious.
I totally get why he doesn't want to pass when you see moments like that.
Really? Adama won a couple of corners and was attempting to go forward.
What did Sinclair do other than get knocked off the ball and give it away on most occasions?
It's a pretty good method actually. Don't think they could ever consider it as trying to 'guarantee profit' as someone could genuinely be backing the player.
Don't recall the press saying anything. It was more our own fans, 'worst player to ever wear a Villa shirt' and similar comments after about 2 games I think it was...
