Agree - we should stick to our 19th minute tribute and leave it up to other teams to join in or not. Most teams realise pretty quickly what's going on, plus with Spurs etc there's a mention in the match day programme to inform others of the great charity/support work that is continually going on for our captain.

I was told they were sold out but then phoned the ticket office and they said they have some restricted tickets left and a couple of regular but they're not getting an extra allocation apparently. Shame as with a 3k strong away following would help the team a lot -we'd take the whole stand -although i'm sure the ticket pricing and start of Christmas month could make it difficult to sell an extra allocation.

Got to keep Bent until the end of this season as its Sod's law that if we sold him then Benteke would get injured. Also the club hat would probably buy him would be QPR - our relegation rivals - we'd be absolutely stupid to do this. We should be looking at bringing in creative players to serve our strikers - and both Bent and Benteke should benefit from this.

I cant see anything but a comfortable win for The Mackems. McLean and Johnson will have a field down down our wings due to our narrow style of play - and Cattermole wont have an easier 'battle' in the midfield as El Ahmandi is suspended. Add to that its against MON and they are massively overdue a win due to their poor winning record (1 in 16 or something) and for me it all points to a comfortable home win. Not to mention the sloppy goals we're giving away. I'm going with 3-1 Sunderland and the start of a catastrophic November for us. Hope i'm wrong.

No surprises that when we attack down the wings and provide crosses that Benteke scores two goals. Our problem with lack of goals this season is due to how narrow we have been playing. Players like Bent and Benteke simply thrive on crosses - Benteke's movement and intelligence from crosses has been clear - we must do more of this.

Holman was the most frustrating player on our pitch against Norwich - wasn't in the game at all and kept giving the ball away (as he tends to do alot). For me, aside from WBA game he hasn't been as good as everyone seems to make out. Just my opinion of course.

Agree with that. Was at Fulham and it wasn't a case of them not having any respect for Petrov (they are among the nicest set of fans in the Premier League) it was more a case of the ground being filled with tourists who would not have known what we were doing.

Haha. In all seriousness I think you may be underestimating our manager by assuming he wont have spent this week studying the current Norwich team. What he should be able to do is draw on his own individual knowledge of individual players that he worked with. He knows CH has put his own stamp on the team - but id be very very surprised if he hasn't been following their games this season pretty closely. I think it'll be a tight game and sure they will be up for it - but then so will we I feel. In my opinion if we score first then we should win. But if they score first I worry about our ability to get ourselves back into the game. Aside from the Everton game we have acquitted ourselves quite well at home this season and our home form will be pivitol to our survival. One thing is for sure, the fans are backing PL and will get behind the team.

Both Bent and Benteke are players that thrive on crosses and decent deliveries. We often play too narrow and through the middle and therefore cannot sniff out a chance (i.e Fulham). Against Norwich we need to play both B&B up top with at least one of Nzogbia or Albrighton on the wing and they should be told to constantly whip the balls in for the front two.
