  1. Is anyone confident we will beat them at our place? I cant say that I am. (Mind you, im never 'confident' of beating anyone...I merely hope to God we win)
  2. I've thought this for a few years.
  3. That was my take, and as I was a bit underwhelmed by the signing I never researched him. I thought it was Sylla when he came on, then I saw the name DAWKINS on his shirt. He sounds like your average bloke from Bromsgrove. as an average bloke from Bromsgrove, I could take great offence at that.... ...but won't.
  4. All our centre backs worry me - even Vlaar cant win a header against anyone taller than him!
  5. Yep Nolan's biggest strength is (one of) our biggest weaknesses - i.e. winning the second ball. We continually lose the second ball, be it from throw-ins, free kicks, goal kicks etc.
  6. The way we're going, it could be over well before then!
  7. The majority of the time its simply a completed pass though. Against Albion he passed the ball to GA who scored. Wow. 'Assists' are too much of a broad statistic. You need to analyse it in more depth. I tend to agree with your last sentence
  8. I'll just go and get my crystal ball. Thanks. Helpful. I guess what I was getting at is does anyone have any news on injury updates for either team? Ha, came across as a bit premature. Bit like choppy and his "just setting off for game now" posts which are always KO -9 hours regardless of game location. Injury news - Collins is out I believe Ha, cheers - to be honest it was/is premature I suppose - but this is purely down to how my nerves about our games now starting at the beginning of each week so any information that could make me feel better (i.e. our players returning from injury or the oppositions key players looking likely to miss) just eases the pain as I go to bed at night.

  10. From McLeish to Mallorca. Just how the **** has this happened.
  11. Id much rather Man City win their next game as they're playing Saints
  12. That's a prime example why footballers should not be allowed on Twitter. Awful thing to say. I remember being shocked when I saw Rio Ferdinand say something similar after Man Utd drew away to Spurs the other week.
  13. Unfortunately, we concede 3 goals in games more than we score 3 goals - hence we are in the shit. We'll get rolled over by West Ham next week as our players seem to shit themselves at VP as we're scared of being a team who are expected to dictate play.
  14. Any other team in the league would have seen that out. We're the weakest defensively, we're the weakest mentally...we're just the weakest.
  15. Bradford were seemingly "tough to beat" and we failed at that at their place. We need a good reaction tomorrow!
  16. The 'upset' would be us turning them over...
  17. Me too. I don't want any reminders of how inept we were. (My season ticket does that enough)
  18. Have you seen that one of them is saying how he's in the Holte End (as a Bradford fan) with his mate who is a bluenose.
  19. You just know Dowd will be wanting to help Bradford tonight - he likes making headlines so i'm fully expecting him to give them decisions.
