  1. Any chance of having Okore back for Fulham?
  2. He further vindicated just how atrocious he is at RB today. Bullied, hounded and inept going forwards.
  3. El Ahmadi was injured - that's why Sylla came on. KEA was destined for a red card anyway...
  4. Much like most of our players then. We are inept against teams around us. This was much like West Ham. Once we go behind we have absolutely no idea how to break a team down. I expect the same against Fulham who will no doubt come and roll us over in a fortnight. (Not to mention the annual Old Trafford rape we'll get next week) I'm now back to being worried and looking over our shoulder at the teams below us - just want to be safe. A win today would've more than likely done that. Typical of us to bottle it. Lambert spending all week saying how confident the team were after Chelsea - and then we turn out that utter shite. It happens all too often.
  5. Norwich are a team that can beat any of the big boys on their day so I wouldn't ever write them off completely. It's going to be a battle for sure. Just hope we're out of it sooner rather than later.
  6. Agree. SKY are miles better than Motd or ITV with their punditry. Neville is refreshingly honest and, has thorough anlysis, sound knowledge and doesn't throw any cliche's round like so many others. Other than Neville i've always enjoyed listening to Souness, Hoddle and Wilkins. Basically people who know their stuff. You can see how Motd have tired harder this season (clearly Hansen, Shearer and co got a rocket up their arse for being boring and predictable) but they're still light years away from the quality, camaraderie and insightfullness of Sky's teams.
  7. Massive chance to pull away further from trouble and continue some recent great work. Stoke will be very tough and wont be as positive as Chelsea, thus making it potentially difficult to break down. Hopefully our confidence is high and we play with some freedom. Bertrand back for Bennett (although Joe did very well on Saturday) and id keep the rest the same. Walters and Adam being out is good for us - as those two can punish teams for sure. No Huth either. A great chance for us and a win here would lift the whole place and hopefully set us up for a decent end to the season.
  8. Could be wrong but as it was a sending off for two yellows this will mean he misses West Ham away next week
  9. Should Oscar be found guilty - what's the likely punishment over there?
  10. I really expected more from him. He's been pretty useless thus far. At least Kozak's got a goal in him.
  11. Yeah he will be. I like him a lot - great left foot.
  12. Unfortunately we cant as Bertrand as ineligible. Bollocks. Forgot about that
  13. The Norwich win really was essential as we now run into a few tough games starting with Mourinho's boys at VP. We were excellent at the Bridge in August but they have come on massively since then and look good for the title. For some reason I never fear this fixture as much as against the likes of Citeh, Man Utd or Arsenal...but i'm not expecting anything but a loss. So hopefully the boys can prove me wrong, dig deep and get something out of this. Anything other than a loss would be massive for us. My fear is if we start slow as we did against Norwich then Hazard and co will tear us a new one and it could be curtains by HT. I'd probably keep the same team as against Norwich for this one.
  14. For me the only reason Lambert uses Bacuna is his pace...for tracking back due to our inefficiencies in midfield. I much prefer Lowton at RB as he offers far more creatively going forward.
  15. Both Benteke and Delph were well below par yesterday, we need them fired up for Sunday.
  16. I have zero faith in us winning next week. The difference between us this year from last year is that we showed an ability to beat the teams around us last season (from Feb onwards) but this year we don't seem to give any impression that we'll get the vital wins at Villa Park. Dreading Sunday.
  17. Nothing less than 3points is required here. Not that I think we will get it as we're so easy to play against at VP. This has West Ham written all over it for me - one we need to win but will probably come undone again. Any idea why this game is at 16.30pm on Sunday? I know its on SKY but just wondered why the strange time.
  18. Utterly **** off with the continual awful performances. Sat back all second half and had no idea how to keep the ball and create anything. Just typical that we (once again) roll over against a team who "needs" a win. We look desperate and are as likely as anyone else to get relegated. I've been worried for a while and this result on top of the awful Hammers defeat and dour Cardiff draw means we're giving ourselves a mountain to climb as we're in free fall. Bennett's awful header have them the chance that resulted in the goal - pretty sure Bertrand would have dealt with t better. The manager seems to have no idea how to influence a game though substitutions and tactics and that is continuously costing us. Very very worried.
  19. Problem is they'd be waiting all night for an answer...
  20. We all thought Saints were screwed when they sacked Atkins
  21. There's not a manager in the league i'd rather see us beat than sleazy Pardew. Can't see us winning based on our last few performances but hope they completely underestimate us (as Liverpool did) and we go at them and come away with something.
