  1. Is he not your cup of tea?
  2. We are in a relegation battle. What else are we playing for?
  3. I just don't know where our next points are coming from?
  4. Didn't Jermaine Jenas rupture his when he was on loan with us?
  5. He'll be last on MOTD I'm guessing...
  6. Is there any way we can not lose this game? If so, please share...
  7. I never thought we'd have such an abysmal Christmas period. I never thought that after beating Chelsea we'd get zero points out of Stoke, United and Fulham. We cannot string good results together and certainly don't appear to have the b*llocks to win crucial games against teams around us - therefore i'm assuming we'll get zero points until the end of the season and do what I did last season; hope and pray that the teams around us don't overtake us. **** useless.
  8. In which case im very very worried about us, as I cant see us amassing a better total than we have now. Thereofre Norwich needing to beat Arsenal to send us down (as we naturally lose to Spurs) is quite probable and Norwich are capable of pulling a result out of their arse.
  9. Fulham are too good to go down. They'll survive.
  10. I was far from confident before the bad news about Tekkers, now I'm shitting bricks and expecting Fulham to stroll this. We're the perfect side for them to get their vital win against...Really need our boys to grind out a result.
  11. Which is unfortunately what we have lacked since our relegation fight last season...
  12. The massive difference between us this season from last is our ability to beat the teams around us and having a forward line who were scoring for fun.
  13. Completely bricking it about the next two games.
  14. I don't understand how those three winning is bad for us, it keeps the teams that have looked most likely to go down further away from us (if we're talking about relegation). I looked at around 6 points maximum for March, which we have achieved. If we had beaten Stoke instead of Chelsea then nobody would be batting an eyelid right now, I think we'll be fine still. It's all about the last relegation place for me... Would think we are clear of Fulham and Cardiff so the fact Cardiff lost is pretty immaterial... But it means the fight to avoid that 3rd from bottom slot is now catching up with us fast. Its a fight between Sunderland, Baggies, Norwich, Us, Swansea, Palace & Hull..Our table position is a little flattering at the moment and another week like this will see half those teams level with us. A few too many weeks left of the season for my liking especially as we in effect lose the last 2 games (Man City & Spurs both away). Just hope Sunderland mess up with their games in hand. Sunderland have West Ham on Monday and then their April fixtures are Spuds, Everton, Man City, Chelsea and Cardiff. They have a really tough run in next month, they're 9 points behind us, I can't see them catching us for shite. The problem with us is we give every team a chance by messing up games against the likes of Stoke, Wes Ham, Cardiff etc. We need that next win - hopefully Saturday, but I just cant see it. Fulham easily rolled us over at Craven Cottage (albeit with Berbatov) and we are utterly useless at home.

Its Sunderland i've got my eyes on more than anyone else. I think if they do not gain any points with their games in hand (i.e. match our games planned) then they will finish below us. But if we lose next week then we should b bricking it because Palace will easily beat us at their place I feel.
  16. I only start the match threads to try and make me forget the utter sh*t I have usually just witnessed. I am not looking forward to this one bit - this is exactly the type of game where we struggle. Fulham will be sat back trying to keep it tight and will no doubt snatch one and then we will spend the whole game struggling to break them down. Only thing that may help us counter a bit is if Fulham come right at us as they're desperate for points. They will feel confident they can win im sure. I expect a loss but we need a win to try and wrap this season up. Id drop Gabby and Weimann and bring Lowton back at RB.....because he is a defender unlike Bacuna.
  17. As we all knew, we're the absolute perfect team to pick United up when they're down, put a smile on Moyes face for the first time in months and give away another 'first' to a member of the opposition (Mata). We played well enough going forwards and created enough chances to take something from the game - the problem is we gifted them their goals - starting from Gabby twice giving it away and then Clark showing how atrocious his positional sense is on two occasions (goals 1 and 4). There's no part of me that's shocked or surprised by any of this. We have no backbone or steel to us - with 20mins left we had given up and lacked any drive to try and get back into it - instead just letting United stroll at times. The most frustrating thing will be that for all our good work going forwards today from midfield to attack - you just know we will play complete dog-shite against Fulham and give away another win at home to a team who needs the points. United were there for the taking today - but we have an inability to capitalise when we most need. They f*ck me off a treat.
  18. We've progressed defensively but regressed offensively, in my opinion.
  19. That's not how it works. The rule doesn't say "intent to deny a goal scoring opportunity." No. It says denying the opposing team a goal or an obvious goalscoring opportunity by deliberately handling the ball (this does not apply to a goalkeeper within his own penalty area) Oxlade Chamberlain did what he did because he thought the ball was going in. So in his mind he was denying the opposing team a goal It was deliberate, but it wasn't denying them a goal because the ball was going wide. It doesn't matter that he didn't know that or what he thought. It's not a red. I can understand why the ref gave a red, because it's tough to tell in real time. All this does is encourage cheating, ungentlemanly conduct and a lack of sporting etiquette. Seriously? It's not like guys are going to intentionally handball shots going wide and give up a penalty all the time if you don't give a red Perhaps not, but Oxlade was trying to cheat the referee in the first place - i.e. act as if he was attempting to head the ball and now because, after many replays from many angles they have deemed it not worthy of a red card and three game ban simply because, by sheer luck, the ball happened to be going wide. Oxlade had no idea it was going wide, he thought it was going in the net and that's why he tried to stop the ball going in - that is cheating and should always deserve a red. (In my opinion)

  21. How the absolute f.uck has Oxlade-Chamberlain not been punished?? Complete madness. Deliberate hand ball. Oxlade wasn't trying to prevent a goal kick, he was trying to prevent a goal.
