Anyone know the current status of this potential loan deal? Aside from the Manchester paper link I cant find anything concrete anywhere else confirming a medical etc. The Manchester paper says he's passed a medical and its due to be wrapped up today. Can anyone throw any light on it?

Where we struggle against lower league opposition (and indeed most teams) is when teams come to VP and sit back. Bournemouth seem to be very attacking and play with plenty of style and an attacking mindset. This will hopefully make the game more open - our best chance of ever creating chances is when there's an end-to-end feel to the play, if this is the case then I think we should be able to overcome them. When teams sit back against us we are utterly clueless and can only pass it sideways until we eventually revert to passing back to the Goose who will then eventually hoof it up field (or out of play) under pressure. We could, quite easily get rolled over to be honest - but the more open the game is, the more I feel it'll help us.

Perfect away performance by Arsenal. Hopefully they'll take us for granted in a couple of weeks and only beat us 2-0.

This. I said after the Swansea game that despite Lambert preferring to bring on Grealish as a sub on boxing day than Nzogbia, i'd still expect him to start Nzogbia against Sunderland - which he did. Its a strange method of thinking in my opinion. Anyone who was at Sunderland saw how much of a direct impact Grealish had when he came on..and that was with 10 men. Grealish deserves a starting role on Thursday - he's still an unknown quantity for teams and is one of the only players who is positive in his approach. The crowd love him too and makes for a better atmosphere and more encouragment - all of which we need to try and get past Palace.

I'd like us to try and get Maloney back from Wigan. And maybe have a punt for a loan deal for Salah from Cheslea.
