Thats because our players only move when they have the ball. When another player on their own team has it they like to stand behind an opponent so they cant be passed to. Its pretty embarrassing really.

Amazing how frank lost the chelsea job because the players were not performing but the guy who replaced him got them playing better and getting results. Almost like the manager was the problem...

Its up to Smith to get the best out of his players. To say poor performances are not on the manager is like saying a company failing to make money is the the fault of the manager - of course it is! Completely toothless and insipid performance. Can't see us winning another game this season.

A professional athlete does not go from 5 weeks out 8njured with no training to competitive sport. Thats how you make injuries worse. He was never going to play again when he hadn't participated in training for so long.

Its more that i don't see us getting another win. Fulham Liverpool Man City West Brom Everton Man Utd Palace Spurs Chelsea At least 6 nailed on defeats there. I'll call it now, and predict we end the season on 44 pts. I can see Wolves (9) and Soton (11) picking up enough points in 9 games. Don't forget Soton were top of the league early doors too, so its not beyond them.

Football is about opinions, and i think we are never going to agree here. Didn't think we played brilliantly in either 3-0 despite the scoreline. We'd played better in other games and lost. The man utd game, prob should have been a draw, but again, dont think we were brilliant there either. Chelsea was probably our best game out of that lot, which we could just as easily have lost as won.

Think we will be fortunate to finish 12th. I think, with the form we are in, we'll finish 14th. Given how well we started, thats pretty poor. Not finishing top 10 after the start we had will be poor. Its only 6 games ago, that a couple of wins (games in hand) would have seen us in the top 4. Given the sides we played, and the results we got, that is shockingly poor. We've lost to nearly all the teams below us.

For me, the turn started in late november with the Brighton and West Ham defeats. Thats nearly 8 weeks before the outbreak. We had the odd good game after that, but no consistency.

That's really not what people were saying. It'd take an unpresedented run of events to see us relegated - pretty much impossible. However, on current form, I think we are the worst team in the league. And I do not see that changing. Blame the covid outbreak or the loss of Grealish if you like, but, we were this bad before both of those events. DS has been found out, and has no answer. Simple as that. Set your team up to play only one way, and eventually you're going to be too predictable. We are the most predictable team in the league, and I don't think the manager has what it takes to change it. I'm not even convinced he sees the problem.

Can't echo this strongly enough. I honestly do not see us picking up another win this season. Major surgery needed, and if i had my way DS would be the first incision.

Going through the squad: Heaton is old, we prob need a new backup. Elmo os old we need a rb Taylor is awful and needs replacing. DS doesn't trust our cbs other than mings and konsa so 2 needed there. Our midfield has shown its too lightweight to challenge. I think we need 2 new 1st team cms. All our wingers are not good enough, at least 2 needed. Ollie is the only striker i think thats good enough, we need at least 1 more. Thats at least 10 players. A lot of whom were brough in by DS and havent made the grade

But the opposition cottoned on to it and suffocated us, and we have nothing else in our play book. The point I'm making is, we are 1 dimensional by design - because the manahwr lack the imagination to do anything else. Poor mans Mourinho for me.

In this form i don't see another win this season. Truly relegation fodder.

But having quality on the wing is only half the battle. I can't see Watkins beating many defenders for power or in the air, so the way we play does not make a lot of sense. We should be playing the ball in behind not getting it wide for crosses. The way we play does not suit the players we have.

We could put Davis up top with Ollie off him. We know he can win the ball in the air and hold it up.
