A bit of sardonicism on an internet chat board is entirely appropriate, CV. In fact, it's a defining feature of most of the discussions that go on here, including this thread. My comment was a barb aimed at the Turkish government and really had nothing at all to do with the crisis in northern Iraq.

Hope not. We need quality, not quantity. One good midfielder would make the world of difference. A higher transfer fee usually means higher wages, which the club will want to avoid. I'd love one "marquee" signing with the remaining 8m, but just can't see it happening, tbh.
