  1. FWIW, he had Man United's best pass rate percentage last year, and was ranked 18th overall in the division.
  2. I'm fine with the signing, but Man United have picked our pocket
  3. I forgot about Bacuna. Id like to see him get regular playing time, its the only way he will improve. Hes a good player.
  4. Are you sure? My google search always brought up Overlord as the largest with one comparing it with Okinawa. Its what Rick Atkinson says in The Day of Battle, written a few years ago...
  5. The table looks a bit off- shouldn't ED have 11 points, Con 16, Milfner 14?
  6. Funny that the the countries in the title of this thread have practically gone completely unmentioned!
  7. I'm sure there are plenty. But it makes the accomplishment no less painful...
  8. Time to rest some players and give a run out for a few too. My best guess is: Given Lowton Okore Clark Baker Grealish KEA Westwood Cole Gabby Bent
  9. He would've sat on Wed even w/out the knock.
  10. I liked at one point when he had the ball at his feet under pressure at the edge of our penalty area, he looked around to see if he could make a useful pass rather than just blast the ball out of there.
  11. Three episodes in to Foyle's War, and really enjoying it, even if it is slightly hokey and Danny Dyer was in the last episode...
  12. You could see flashes of failure today, despite an overall sound performance. I'd like to think Okore will eventually win the starting job.
  13. That's what I thought about Casino.
  14. Question for you film buffs- Which Newman/Redford movie do you like better- Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid or The Sting?
  15. Wing back heaven at the moment, hope it lasts.
  16. If he's good enough to be on the bench, he's good enough to start. We don't have any other player with his flair, it's wasteful to keep him sitting.
  17. Hodgson was at the game today, and other than Delph, the only other player of interest to him would have to be Westwood. An England call up could really help his confidence.
  18. Nice one My first (and only) visit to Villa Park was a 0-0 draw as well! It was a great experience. It's one thing to see it on TV, but to get off the train and walk to the ground, and then up the ramp to see the pitch...nothing quite like it.
  19. Seems like we set up for a 0-0 draw. At home. Against a non-elite side. Disappointing approach, but what's new... Westwood MOTM for me, when he decides to get stuck in, he's a very good player. Decent on the counterattack, but no attacking impetus when not on the break. Not enough creativity in midfield. Good to see Hutton playing so well. Time to see what Joe Cole can do next week. Two clean sheets is great to see, but if we continue to play like that, we will really struggle to pick up any points at all.
  20. I think what you are describing sounds like basic anxiety, which can be compounded by, if not caused by the totality of horrible things that are happening in the world. But you should console yourself with the fact that the horrors in the Middle East and Africa are thousands of miles away. And the world is no more dangerous than it ever was. And ISIS is not going to invade Britain.
  21. I have always thought Facebook and Twitter are more useful as business mechanisms rather than social life enhancers.
  22. Unfortunately, there will always be some clearing in the woods who will want to buy him a drink just so they can say they did. He should probably leave the UK, come to the US and get treatment. Maybe get a analyst job with ESPN or NBC or FOX, get an apartment and lay low.
