  1. I hope we play Clevs in an attacking role, he seems to have an attacking instinct and the consensus is that he was misused at Man United by playing a holding role.
  2. He looks so old...I bet if he shaved that thing off, he'd look about 42...
  3. The top one looks like a Christmas tree with Guzan as the angel.
  4. Nah, death would mean he's "martyred"...I'd prefer it if we scooped him up and put him in a really small cage for the next 50 years.
  5. Under present circumstances, that's enough, frankly

    Arsenal

I bet Welbeck score more goals than Falcao this year
  7. Tuesday now, and Cleverley is a Villan. Let's see those best lineups
  8. Yeah, good job PL for not giving up on it and even twisting a few arms at the FA
  9. The deal is done, he can only help us unless he sulks around like Ireland, but with the team shaping up to be the best Villa side in years (gulp), hopefully he wants to prove himself and play hard.
  10. I think we dodged another Stephen Ireland
  11. Sadly, fees and wages go up in January as desperate clubs have less wiggle room in negotiations.
  12. Really not that thrilled with Big Ben as my QB1. Took a flyer on Trent Richardson...maybe playing in a good passing offense will open up some holes for him to exploit. Fingers crossed.
  13. LaFell is a nice late rounder, he could do very well in NE
  14. C+ draft report card. **** you, Yahoo
  15. He could still do an Odemwingie
  16. I don't see what's funny about it, just makes our fans look like morons. Hardly witty is it? TBF, most of the fans from every club Sky is reporting from act like mooks in front of the camera
  17. Seems that the wages he's been demanding has been the primary stumbling block for both Villa and Everton, so even if he is asking for 60/week, he and his agent are totally misreading the market for him.
  18. Yes because all well paid players don't want to fight tooth and nail for the club. The dream players are the ones who don't want more than the average industrial wage, yep they're the ones we should only sign. It's one thing to have earned the right to demand (and get) relatively big wages, another entirely to have NOT earned that right and still make demands. The fact that Everton pulled out says it all. He's living in fantasy land.
  19. Naive would be agreeing to his wage demands
