The previous invasion of Iraq was illegal. This current program of US bombing runs inside Syria and Iraq has been approved by both Syria and Iraq, although the latter was never in doubt. But it seems the US and whoever else is roped into this has the tacit "support" of Assad, and by extension, Iran, who both also want IS crushed. Strange days.

Yup. I was there for the 3-1 win a few years ago, and the atmosphere was dreadful. The 'famous kop' barely made a peep. Just based on what I've seen on TV over the years, Goodison puts Anfield to shame. No contest. Always a good atmosphere at Goodison, it seems.

Weimann and Gabby upfront is not the long term plan, and I think Grealish will be phased in over the next couple of months, as well as Cleverley playing in a more advanced position. I'm confident the goals will come. It'd be fantastic if Benteke and Kozak can form a good partnership. I think Weimann and Gabby should be used as late subs, to stretch tired defenses.

Peterson? He'l probably get 6 games, but the Vikings are playing it smart, unlike Baltimore by not releasing him. Ray Rice will be back in the NFL after a year of apologies, anger management etc. And the Ravens will be without an elite RB, whereas a team like Oakland or New Orleans will be throwing money at him to sign for them.

Surely Villa Park will be sold out for this one? If we can contain their midfield, we have a decent shot at getting a result from this. They are a bit weak upfront, and a bit weak in defense. I expect Vlaar will be back in for Baker. We are winning games without being much of a scoring threat, and that needs to change if we expect to get anything more from this run of games.
