I think if you were a supporter of Blackpool or Bristol Rovers or Plymouth, etc. back in 1950, you might have had a whinge at the big clubs with all their money to spend on better players...the more things change, maybe?

I'm not sure why they feel the need to do this. Clubs are already selling out NFL stadiums for meaningless summertime friendlies. Man Utd-Real Madrid sold out Univeristy of Michigan's 109,000 seater in July. 109,000 people to watch a friendly.

Eagles playing in all black on Sunday night for the first time ever. I'm sure shirt sales will spike. If the NFL was smart, they'd update all team gear every 2-3 years. But they are not smart.

The gentrification of my neighborhood is in full effect right now. The house behind me was just razed, and they're currently building a 2 unit condo building. Now the house across the street form me has a crew climbing around it installing solar panels. And it just so happens I'm moving out in three weeks, cuz my landlord is selling the house. Probably to the guy that's been putting up all these condos. Time marches on.
