If it was pure media bollocks, he wouldn't have been subbed out for the second half, and Rodgers would not have told the press that he's unhappy with the incident. The fact of the matter is, the player put in another terrible performance, and while leaving the pitch at halftime down 3 goals, he swaps shirts. It matters not if Pepe made the request, it's a dumb move by Balotelli under the circumstances.

It only took 7 weeks for the Balotelli signing to officially blow up in their face Selfish player, should have played Sterling through early on, instead went for glory and failed. The halftime shirt swap is pure Mario. He doesn't care, and probably did it to wind Rodgers and Co. up. Popcorn time.

I agree with that assessment Bicks. He has a platform and he's using it to rabble rouse, which I like. Most celebrities are vacuous bores more concerned with maintaining their comfortable lifestyle than engaging in meaningful discourse, be it politics, or anything else. If he makes people think instead of mindlessly consume, then good. I think if I was 23 and not 43, I'd find his technique less annoying.
