He was on the show to sell his book and promote his web series. When the presenter asked a couple of pretty soft questions, Brand turned defensive and belligerent. Nobody expects him to be a master debater, but maybe a news show guest with some manners. He wasn't confronted or provoked, he was just asked to explain his positions that he wrote about in his book.
I agree with some of what Brand talks about, but it's mostly pie in the sky stuff, idealistic daydreaming.
Take away the dome Manning played in for 12 years or whatever, and I think his positive numbers take a hit. Brady played in wind, snow, rain and ice for all those years. Something that should be considered...
Probably the smartest choice!
The London team thing is an idiotic idea and I really hope it doesn't happen. Imagine if the FA decided to put a new club in the USA. There would be an absolute uproar, and rightfully so. If this does happen though, the league would be smart to name them the "England Crusaders" or whatever, not limiting themselves to a London market. But because the league brass are all idiots, they'll keep London in the name.
It is amazing to me that getting a team in London is a higher priority than getting a team back in L.A., the second biggest market in the US.
It could force Lerner's hand to spring for another quality MF in January. It also bodes well for Sanchez, cuz he'll be starting games from now on, and he should improve. Potential silver linings...
Police investigating a complaint of "threatening behaviour" against Balotelli from a woman who was photographing his Ferrari....prolly not much in this, but it won't do Rodger's blood pressure any good.
I've spent my 43 years living in and around Boston, and it's coming to an end. I'm moving to Maine, loading a truck up next week and heading north. I've had enough of Massachusetts, and the cost of living here is no longer manageable. In 10 years, Boston will be like San Francisco, the exclusive domain of the very wealthy, surrounded by isolated pockets of poverty.
