draft position is so overrated. i'd rather win some games.
Yep, unless the top 5 or so players coming out are all consensus world beaters, high draft position means much less than it does in the NBA, for example. I'm inclined to think high picks are more valuable as trade chips. 1st rounder for 3 middle rounders, that sort of thing.
They must have known he didn't really give a toss about them, cuz he was a part timer with Ireland being his bigger priority. Generally it's a good policy to have all hands on deck so to speak, and Keane didn't. Hopefully Mr. Lambert picks someone who will make a total commitment to the Villa cause.
I'm of a similar opinion but I would say that their first album is a masterpiece. It's the only one I still listen to on a semi-regular basis and it never gets old.
The albums I still enjoy are III, IV minus Stairway, and Houses of the Holy. I and II I can't really deal with anymore. Too sloppy and derivative.
that can only be an indictment of the manager, imo. represented in technicolor by last weeks substitution of sanchez for bent to try and protect the lead
my stream went haywire before their goal, so i didnt see the last 20 minutes, but fully expected to see a 1-1 scoreline when i logged back on
seems like lambert bungled it again in the 2nd half
at least we didn't lose
shame, cuz for the 1st 30 minutes we looked like barcelona
