My problem with Tarantino is that most of his films are loaded with all kinds of gratuitous filler. Basterds was a much tighter film than his others.

yellow will be the color of the leagues demise I get the player protection thing, but dammit, they don't get to play. I know, they are making it the anti-football league. Hard hits and playing on the edge is why people tune in. You remove that from the game you risk a lot. It's a slippery slope they're on. If a particular crew gets flag happy early on, I'll shut the television off.

Yep, I like his stuff better than Ocasek's, plus he had that cool rocker thing going on. I really liked the Cars up until the silly pop fluff like "Magic". But they were a great guitar pop band and a musical bridge of sorts from guitar heavy 70's stadium rock to early 80's new age synth based stuff. They went platinum many times, but I think they get short shrift for some reason, case in point the HoF snub. They are often overlooked, but IMO they were an important band in the history of rock music.
