That's my one gripe with his game. He makes nice incisive runs that stretch defenses and he puts himself into very dangerous areas, but too often his final ball just gets away from him or the shot just isn't good enough. Sitting on the bench at Man Utd will not help him in that regard.
For me, Delph is another Ashley Young in the making. He'll go to a fancier club and get lost in the shuffle, his form will hit the skids and he'll never truly fulfill his potential. If he stays at Villa, he's assured of a steady starting job and a weekly audition for a continuing England spot. But he always seemed like he'd be gone at the first opportunity.
Not good-
A statement purporting to be from the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, the biggest police union, blamed Mr. de Blasio for the shootings.
“The mayor’s hands are literally dripping with our blood because of his words, actions and policies,” read the statement, “and we have, for the first time in a number of years, become a ‘wartime’ police department. We will act accordingly.”
NYC looks about ready to pop
I hope he scores 15 goals the rest of the way and we get into some hot Europa League action. Then he might consider staying. If not, he'll have done enough to point us in the right direction. And we can cash in on him in a big way. Hopefully Kozak comes good and we spend the Benteke money wisely.
Everyone out there knows he is top class, he proved it again today. Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs, and probably foreign clubs will come sniffing. This summer.
