If I'm not mistaken, Mourinho still has never won at Villa Park...No Costa for them, but that shouldn't prevent them from winning this, but we might be able to stifle them yet again.
He's smart enough to know that if he moved to Spurs or Liverpool, he'd be on the bench half the time. He's finally healthy and enjoying his football, even though it's been a bit of a slog with this Villa side, but he knows he'll always start, so why not re-sign? I'm sure he's got a release clause if we get relegated, so he's done well for himself.
I saw this story in the Guardian today as well. Seems the Foreign Office have summoned the Russian ambassador to the UK to explain why Russian fighter jets were approaching UK airspace.
Did the Mail misreport the story somehow?
I'd like to see this soon. Doubt Sinclair will be ready to start against Arsenal though. Would try playing that formation but with Bacuna instead of Sinclair.
I think Bacuna played himself back onto the bench. It'll be Cleverley or Westwood, my guess is Lambert stays with Cleverley.
Guzan
Hutton Okore Clark Cissokho
Sanchez
Gil Delph Sinclair
Benteke Weimann
Is a possibility for the Chelsea match.
Even if Sinclair never starts, Cleverley or Westwood get bumped down to the bench now.
A loan is perfect. If he does well, we get first dibs on him in the summer, I'm assuming. Low risk move that adds depth and who knows, he might be more motivated now.
