Unless Fox has been speaking with Sherwood for weeks now, this 3 year deal is the club just winging it again. But thats beside the point at the moment, i hope he can get the team playing to their ability and keep us up. No pressure, Tim!

Problem is the clock is ticking, so unless we have a stable of potential managers on speed dial, this whole thing will be rushed, with limited options. If we end up with Sherwood or a similar type of managerial profile, he should only be given the job until the end of the season with a club option to extend the contract. If Fox jumps the gun on this then he is not quite Mr Big Time is he.

Im fine with Sherwood until the end of the season, but you know the club will put him on a 5 year contract.

Waiting for my flight home now...dreading the 8F temperature. I enjoyed my stay for the most part. My primary mission was achieved. Off season now, so its pretty barren, which made the nightlife a bit lacking. Sticker shock on just about everything too. But very nice place.

Krulak is an absolute rocket polisher. Havent heard a word from him in 4 years, and he decides to rear his head and slam Lambert after hes been sacked. Embarrassing figure to be accociated with the club.

I havent seen any quote from Lambert to say he was pissed off about it being over the phone and to be honest I dont see how it makes any difference to anything. He was being paid £60k per week to do a job he wasnt very good at and he has been given £3m as a payout for not being very good at this job. All in all I think he has done rather well yep, i would gladly be fired over the phone with a 2m parting word
