I like the idea of Westwood as our second holding MF after Sanchez. Solid player, but if Villa are to improve, he belongs on the bench for league games.

why not? He done more in last 2 cup games than Delph, Cleverley or Westwood all season This is basically how I see it. Even though Bacuna is very inconsistent, he's still done way more than any of the above this season. Not sure how Bacuna has done more than Delph or Westwood this season...for me, the question is who does he replace in midfield if people want him to start.

Sometimes I think his best position might be an out and out striker. His best pieces of play for us have always been when he is close to the goal with the ball at his feet.

I think Woody will have Delph playing in a more advanced position from now on. I did a double take when he had a free header in yhe box yesterday, how often have we seen him actually in the penalty area? If he and Gil can form a good understanding, the goals should start flying in. Lets hope.

I dont think one good performance in a cup game warrants a starting job the rest of the way. Start him in the next cup match and take it from there. I like Bacuna and hope to see more of him, just not during this run up. Too inconsistent.
