LOL, I was on my knees in front of the television right at the end as we were pressuring them and then got the penalty. My nephew who doesn't like sports was looking at me like I was a madman.
What a relief to get the 3 points...
love how he couldn't watch, he loves villa
i was in a bookstore recently, had to leave after 5 minutes. when i got home, my t shirt was drenched in sweat. i might have bought a book, but the idiots drove me outta there with the heat cranked so high
I plumped up this winter cuz it's been so cold with snow and ice still covering the roads. I'm at about 183lbs, a good 10lbs more than what my ideal weight is. Living with my sister the last 4 months hasn't helped either, she buys cheese by the barrel, and bakes muffins and stuff. And I'm drinking beer again, so I need to tighten up my act!
Tonights win was HUGE considering we still have some very difficult fixtures coming up. That Benteke penalty might end up being the defining moment for us this year...and maybe years to come.
Seemed Cleverley was told to have a go tonight...and the way their players were closed down so fast was great to see, they were under almost constant pressure for much of the game. Aggression. Something we had none of under Lambert.
I want to see him play, but if there is legitimate competition for starting jobs right now, it can only be a good thing. Clearly Sherwood is picking his team based on training and current opponent. I expect to see Gil play a big role still this season.
