You know what, Villa are making headlines, the manager is making headlines, Villa Park is exciting, good things are happening and really positive things are potentially right around the corner. I don't get the hand wringing over the pitch invasion at the end, it's about having fun, so yeah, against the rules or whatever, but would you prefer everyone sat down and politely clapped...happy times at Villa have been non-existent so when they finally come around, get the **** in there and celebrate, this is fantastic stuff guys!

That wasn't really a full on pitch invasion though (for the goals)...maybe a bit OTT, but it happens almost everywhere every week, (to a lesser extent) especially with away fans. Frankly, I love seeing scenes like that, it's been nothing but month after month of abject dreariness, and Villa fans have finally pressed the release valve. And well **** deserved. In the US, all those fans would be spending the night in jail. That's why I look at scenes like that and smile. UTV!!!

NBC is doing Saturday night boxing now...can only be a good thing for the sport, and fans. Major free network...prime time broadcast. Pretty cool.

Slipped on ice while opening my car door....side of the door caught me flush against the lower left eye right on the bone...nice bloody gash and a black eye just in time for a job interview tomorrow morning. Is it bad that what I really want to do right now is go get drunk and fight

I think the overriding consensus Maqroll, at least amongst the british, is that Dom Joly is an irritating word removed. Yes, 20 years later and I was thinking the same thing. I was also thinking the "Jackass" jackasses owe a nod to him.

I love the reaction around the league and from media and whatnot to the win yesterday. All those non Villa people who had to tip their hats to the majesty of Aston Villa and the feeling that can be generated within Villa Park. It's special, and everyone knows it. We truly are sleeping giants. Let's hope this is truly the turning point now.
