Finished the first episode of Show Me a Hero...it's good. Carried by Oscar Isaac who makes Colin Farrell's mumbling California cowboy performance in True Detective look amateurish, and Vaughn's gangster act look absolutely laughable. Good stuff, looking forward to the rest.

Infuriating player. Tons of natural talent, but zero footballing sense. Almost always dribbles into three defenders or blasts the ball 40 feet over the crossbar. Needs to go ASAP

I understand this. Normal, intelligent people whose faces go blank when you bring up a fairly significant current event or political situation...baffling how smart people totally tune that stuff out. Or maybe that's what makes them smart, I dunno.

Sounds like it could be fun. The first time I read 100 Years, I gave up after 36 pages. 5 years later, I tried again. On page 37, I was hooked, no lie. It all came together in an instant, and the rest of it was like Dickens on mushrooms. **** brilliant.
