I think we all knew he was an egoist coming in to the job, so none of this should be surprising. At some point, he needs to put up or shut up, and that point is fast approaching. Stoke won't be a walk in the park, and the next few matches after that all scream defeat. We are close to being completely ****. I just hope Tom Fox has a few names and numbers lined up.

Nothing quite like MLB playoffs. Its like a totally different sport in some ways. Great intensity. Cold weather, angst ridden fans, every pitch matters. Love it, even when my club is not involved.

It's still September, the team is still not 100% fit and used to each other, and the pace of the league is making some of the newbies look pretty bad. If we can get a fit and functioning team with a little head of steam going, we can climb out of the quicksand we're currently in. That said, if the results and performances and selection and tactics continue to be crap in another 4-6 weeks, something will have to be done. Give him enough rope
