  1. Trading Rooney and Grealish for Hazard may have been a bit rash....
  2. I was 17 then, and Ruge is right, I was a full on headbanger at that point. What's funny is that as I got older, my hair got much shorter, and as my dad aged, he grew his out (what was left of it, anyway) The old family photo is interesting because the guy taking the photograph was my grandfather, who was despised by all of them, and who beat my father the worst. So you can see in my dad's eyes almost a taunting look, like "I'm getting older now, you bastard". And you can see how my grandmother is looking at my dad kind of concerned like.
  3. if they catch me in a good mood I will answer them and sometimes throw in a wonderful lie, other times I put my change back in my wallet cut my eyes and walk out the shop Do you put coins in your wallet or just notes? Coins don't belong in a wallet. I hate people with big wallets
  4. Every English person should be immensely proud of The Beatles, and what they did in just 7 years. It's an incredible output in such a short period of time, and their impact is immeasurable. i really should listen to them more often but then that would probably ruin the great experience i have when i do listen to them. they really are quite astounding. If I never heard half their songs again, it would be soon enough. But their good stuff is just otherworldly, totally untouchable in the pop rock genre.
  5. This was sent to me recently. It's the day my uncle Johnny shipped off. My dad in the front with the rest of my aunts and uncles and grandma.
  6. Just dug this one up....me and my dad, 1988.

  8. I stopped eating bread with sugar in it for toast and stopped adding sugar to my morning coffee, also started drinking seltzer instead of OJ in the AM I basically eliminated big helping of sugar from my daily diet. I ended up losing weight, just shedding pounds, about 10 in total. So sugar can go do one, IFAIC
  9. I said that of course, not wainy, hence the fun you know
  10. I think it's great he still wears it like that. Non-conformist. Or just really really scared of change...

  12. No chance IMO. His career is way too successful to have his hands tied by that franchise. He'd be mental to go near it. He's far too good for that tiresome shite. really ? his mad max was dreadful , his Bane nearly ruined batman and the less said about his kray Twins the better i can't comment on his acting in Bronson as I switched it off about 30 mins in as it was a pile of poo so you could say so far I'm not a fan TBH, I don't really understand the fawning over Hardy either. He's a rugged handsome guy, but he's a bit stunted. A bit like Craig then, but better looking.
  13. Thanks for putting me off The Avengers, I watched a Joseph Goebbels documentary instead. Hess was a half wit Goerring was a bourgeois fat cat just there for the perks Himmler was a coward and sadist Goebbels was a deranged lunatic, but the most interesting and intelligent of them all, including Hitler. The more you study the Nazis, the more an undercurrent of mass homosexuality becomes apparent, very strange, especially considering gays were some of the first to be killed.
  14. Hopefully he's told the geniuses at AVFC.comedy to take the week off, learn how to spell, and come back next week refreshed.
  15. The real gamble is playing with **** fire every year and expecting not to get burnt. Lerner Out
  16. It's the year 2015 and the global slaughter of elephants continues unabated.
  17. You might be right. Craig was a virtual unknown, Brosnan's career was nosediving, and whathisname was more of a stage actor if I'm not mistaken...
  18. No chance IMO. His career is way too successful to have his hands tied by that franchise. He'd be mental to go near it. He's far too good for that tiresome shite. Most actors would not turn it down, and Hardy probably wouldn't either. You make a fortune, and enter yourself into legend.
  19. They are already doing it, now it's just called "legal". Shameful that the "progressive" Labour Party fell in line with it.
  20. I'll give you Carles Gil I'm tempted now that we seem to have a sane manager!
  21. I was wondering how they could top Skyfall. Skyfal was kind of like the Bond to end all Bonds. Will be curious to see who they pick next. My moneys on Tom Hardy.
  22. Should I rent "The Avengers"? Or is it non-stop explosions, chase scenes and cliches? I like Batman Begins, didn't like the last Batman, didn't like the Spiderman movies and the first Hulk sucked
