  1. "On here" meaning VillaTalk you goof
  2. There was some talk on Twitter and on here about a boycott of this one. I wouldn't be surprised if it's half empty. And if things go badly, a very hostile crowd. 0-2 to Palace
  3. I used to support this idea, but now I only support it for disputed goals. Anything else would just slow the game down, and the beauty of football is that it rarely stops.
  4. All the pressure is on you, TRS....
  5. He's settled on relegating us, so I'm not sure why you think he'd do an about face. He doesn't care, will not spend and can't/won't find a buyer. He also employs complete idiots at the highest levels of the operation, so I'd prepare to get used to the status quo. He is.
  6. The fact that most of the on topic threads have devolved into discussions about adjusting to the Championship.
  7. Totally. A lazy July day game against some crappy last place team is more about relaxing in the sun and enjoying a day off of work. A late September night game with a playoff spot on the line against a direct rival means people are standing up, hanging on every pitch and there's an energy surge that you can really feel.
  8. Alex Gordon stays with KC, probably could've gotten more money if he left. Good to see some loyalty in baseball, and great that it's with a small club like KC.
  9. She was hamstrung by the atrocious writing. That said, even if the script was by the Coen Brothers, Christiansen would still have sucked, I have no idea how he ever had a career. Terrible actor.
  10. Congrats, Asgard Giants Good final duel there
  11. The Chargers and Raiders is a joint stadium share bid, the Rams a stand alone bid. Also, the fact that the Rams are LA's original football club, I'm predicting the Rams come home. Sucks for all the fans of course. And what we'll end up seeing is St. Louis will then turn to Oakland and San Diego and try to lure them to Missouri, just like they tried to do with New England after they lost the Cardinals to Arizona. Shitty situation all around. The best thing would have been creating an expansion team.
  12. Also, every team we play will be extra motivated to pile more anguish upon the mighty Aston Villa. Mid table finish at best, is my guess.
  13. I'm in the exact same spot I was last year. 2 games behind TRS...wondering if I should just throw a Hail Mary and pick all the teams I'd normally not...
  14. Its freezing cold tonight, I have the heat on, wool socks on and slippers over them, but my feet are like ice cubes. And I don't know what to do.
  15. Yep, it sends an institutional message of "No Confidence". Can't be good for the mentality of the players putting pen to paper.
  16. The bits of dialogue in Pulp Fiction that were considered funny and quirky, etc. now just seem stale and a bit annoying.
  17. I agree. In fact, I think it might even surpass Pulp Fiction, which hasn't aged that well. (ducks for cover )
  18. Other than Brad Pitt's accent, I really liked the movie. Much better than Django, IMO.
  19. Next year's starting XI: Bunn Bacuna Clark Baker Bennett Traore Westwood Veretout Sinclair Luke Moore Gestede
  20. I bet Fox and co. are thinking who they can sell right now rather than buy.
