  1. Yep, it's hard to argue with most of that, but it's a little cringey when he starts big upping himself in public to get a seat on the board.
  2. Stan Collymore is publicly lobbying for a board position, lol. Poor Stan.
  3. I wouldn't be so sure. A guy like Pearson would view Gabby as a real asset in the Championship.
  4. Crickets on here late night lately. Where are the Aussie VTers?
  5. Coverage of the uprising was pretty sparse over here when you see what was actually revealed in the film. Incredible drama.
  6. There was that game with K-Mac in charge that some people thought he threw...I wonder if there was more to all that speculation. Anyways, if I was him, I'd be nervous.
  7. Jack Grealish has showed us that he's just a young kid with a ton of cash living the dream and acting like a complete clearing in the woods. But he's talented. And he's a Villan. And he's still just a kid. Let's not write off Jack Grealish just yet, I think the young man might have a big role to play for Villa.
  8. It would've taken much more than Adama Traore to save us. TBH my biggest Gripe with Garde is not giving Kozak a longer look.
  9. I wonder if K-Mac is vulnerable now too. My guess is he's sacked/ "mutual consent" deal
  10. Zatman, it was already a lost cause before Garde took over.
  11. Is not entertaining you really a "disgrace"? He inherited a shit squad with low morale, didn't get backed in January, and despite a little streak of decent results, couldn't get the thing under control. Nothing he's done has been disgraceful, but some of the abuse he took was disgraceful, especially the Sunderland away scenes, that was ugly and un-Villa like.
  12. Not convinced that the totality of the board are particularly reassuring appointments for the long term success of the club. These new guys are all pretty old, and while that is an advantage in some respects, I fear a scenario where the resurgence of Villa is delayed in any way by these "set in their ways" old timers. Or maybe I'm just a cynical prick.
  13. It's the perfect time for Moyes to take the Villa job. He needs us, too.
  14. Alternator job on my car today...**** mechanics just soak you because they hold your livelihood in their hands.
  15. And just like that, he's gone. See ya, Remi, we hardly knew ya. Decent guy who was lied to by his employers and had an impossible remit under the circumstances. Maybe he lost the dressing room, but the whole thing was fully imploded before he even put pen to paper. We are an embarrassment at the moment, and any manager in his right mind would steer clear of this total calamity of a football club.
  16. I'm going to hazard a guess that this is actually a Spanish surname...
  17. I feel like we are hurtling towards the precipice. Things are really **** up in the world right now.
  18. Cynical sleaze behind the scenes rules the day
  19. In fact, I'd go as far to say Belgium was identified by terrorist groups and their enablers long ago as a soft target and a safe haven to hideout, recruit, plan, etc for the precise reason that there are massive gaps in communication amongst law enforcement there.
  20. These people are mostly Belgian citizens, they'll know fully well the linguistic gaps in their own country.
  21. Yes, the language thing is truly strange, and I'm sure it's something the terrorists are eager to exploit.
