Last night I said he came close to scoring 2 goals, but he also had that chance towards the end of the game when he was right near the post and side footed the ball but Ederson saved it. He just didn't have enough purchase on it, but on another day, that would be a goal, and his other two shots would have been too. Like some City fan on Blue Moon said, we could've scored 7 or 8 on the night.

Norman Lear, 101. Probably doesn't ring a bell for most on here, but he was a Hollywood giant. A writer and producer of several hit TV shows in the 70s and 80s, his crowning achievement being "All in the Family", (based on the English show "Til Death do us Part"). He changed American television by writing hot button social topics and political commentary into his shows. He cast Black actors and created Black shows and wasn't afraid to piss off the establishment. He was a stalwart of the Left and supported a lot of good causes. A good guy who left New England and lived the Hollywood dream.

You could FEEL Villa Park through the television tonight from the moment the teams came out the tunnel. It looked like everyone was standing the whole game, which is incredible. I'm envious of every Villan that witnessed that in person. This match, this performance will never be forgotten. Incredibly proud of the team and the supporters and I hope Deano enjoyed that too.
