  1. Mine as well. Let's hear it for multiple sarcasms!
  2. What are you, some sort of resident La Liga expert?
  3. It's a great underdog story, end of. If you enjoy football and the whole culture around it I find it hard to believe people can't take one day to simply express their admiration for a remarkable achievement. They just won the league an hour ago, FFS! Little Leicester City. Good for them, I say. That said, I hope we come straight back to the Prem and throttle them twice.
  4. 5000/1 preseason odds for them to win it. I reckon there are a few very happy punters out there.
  5. It should be interesting to see how well they're backed for a title defense and Champions League campaign.
  6. Bunch of savages but I can't help but feel happy for them. Congrats, Leicester.
  7. That priest in the water looked cool as ****. I want to see more of that character.
  8. Same here. Papa Bolton was a total dick, so good riddance. I foresee a showdown between Ramsey and that other important character.
  9. I have no idea who any of these people are, but this guy hits the nail on the head in his takedown of PC culture.
  10. Another great episode. Loving it, I hope this thing just keeps going year after year. The immersive style of the show is **** devastating. Brilliant stuff.
  11. Hear, Hear for Paddy He was a pretty cool dude wasn't he?
  12. It occurred to me after I watched this that Prince was perhaps the last of a particular brand of performer. I think of Louis Armstrong, Cab Calloway, Little Richard, James Brown, Michael Jackson and Prince. These guys are the Mt. Rushmore of American R&B music. This performance is pure showbiz schmaltz, but it's totally intentional and just pure fun. I'm old enough to remember some parents were scared of Prince, like an Elvis effect type thing. Too much sexuality to handle I guess. But in retrospect, Prince was just a pure old school artist the whole time he was active. He somehow managed to be "retro" at every step of his career. He incorporated imagery into his music platform better than maybe any other popular music act, ever. I still get hung up on the fact David Bowie is just recently dead. They were very similar in their approach to music, fashion, visual art and fame.
  13. This is a great feed- https://twitter.com/FearDept
  14. Bacuna, Grasshopper and I agree. Get creative with the third strip, but Villa represent tradition, and should always have claret body and blue sleeves as the main strip. I used to own the all claret Diadora top, but it didn't feel right somehow. I gave it away.
  15. He's a true gent. Wish we had him at Villa. Credit everyone at LCFC, even if they somehow conspire to bottle it and other results go against them, they made the top of the table interesting again, instead of the same old boring Sky clubs. Great team spirit at Leicester. And how can you not like a guy like Okazaki? He runs himself into the ground every game. They all do, really. They are the total opposite of what Villa have become.
  16. I recently bought a bottle of Vitamin D-3.
  17. Tip of the hat to the traveling support, you guys do Villa proud.
  18. 2 stoppage time goals conceded you say? To lose the game you say? Well I never...
  19. Amazing how the British chattering class has jumped all over Livingston in a comprehensive way, but strangely go silent when Britain sells Israel weapons and those weapons are used to bomb schools in Gaza.
