  1. I remember the first time I heard this tune. I remember thinking "Please say Boston!", and he did. Great old R&B standard. You listen to most contemporary R&B, and it's so processed and soulless you might as well have Germans producing it. (j/k totes luv ya my Hessian Masters)
  2. Moaning about getting older is boring as ****, but occasionally, it must be done, simply for mental health reasons. So here's my moan: I've reached an age now where I fully understand what men mean when they worry about having a heart attack. Nowadays I can feel my heart operating as a contracting muscle, and I'm much more attuned to how it responds mechanically to different stimuli. You become hyper aware from head to toe, really. Must be some sort of slow fuse biological code we use to prolong our lives once we've matured out of our peak physical fitness stages. In some ways, it's kind of cool. So I guess it wasn't really a moan after all, derp.
  3. Loved the scene where Brienne whips her cock out
  4. What's happened to Tyrion's bodyguard, the dude who was traveling with Jorah?
  5. Anyone have Sinead O'Connor?
  6. Wilshere really made the team?
  7. He got his bell rung hard, love it.
  8. The inevitable showdown I knew would happen has officially kicked off. Should be good. Very fun episode in general, only one spot dragged. I'm assuming Marrtin had no input on the story for this one?
  9. Really fascinating how Matt Harvey is the lowest in the starting staff hierarchy now. Enjoy this group Mets fans, it's rare. It has the potential to become the greatest rotation in history, no joke.
  10. Good man, TRS, enjoy! Mind the bullets #chiraq
  11. Last one out, shut off the lights. Thank **** it's all over. Lerner Out UTV
  12. The nuts and bolts of it for my family: My mother's maternal family are a bunch of weirdos... they're my English blood. Smart people on the whole, and very middle class, either by aspiration or demonstration. Very Episcopalian Northeast kind of ethic with the older generation on that side. A few real characters, most of whom are gone now. They were hustlers in their way. My rich great uncle made his fortune in trash removal. Middle class people who have always acted like they were some kind of royalty. My mother's paternal family are my Irish blood. My granddad grew up in Quincy, Mass. where they carved out a life amongst the hordes of Irish who poured into Boston at the turn of the century. I only knew my great Uncle Jack from that family. They didn't accept that my Irish Catholic grandfather married an English Protestant girl in the 1920's in Boston, so he was always the outcast from his family after that. My father is of Italian and Dutch stock. Salt of the earth people who make family events enjoyable.
  13. Almost came to blows with the head chef tonight. Then I gave him the "Villa Were Just Relegated Stare", and he backed right the **** up.
  14. I won't miss the boring teams and cookie cutter players
  15. They'll be smart to keep Little, let's hope they do. (If "they" even exist, because I fear another Lerner smokescreen could be in full effect right now)
