What are some of your more vivid memories over the years?
I was just remembering how as kids, we used to order butterfly knives and throwing stars from this massive catalogue of cheesy 80's "Ninja" gear. We were obsessed.
Raiders of the Lost Ark. In terms of pure enjoyment, it must be the perfect film, IMO. So silly and obvious on many levels, but so effective and really fun to watch. It's like a study in the Adventure genre.
I remember this woman I used to work with. Tragic life. Abusive father, then she lost her two kids who were both in their 20's. I'm amazed at how people go on in spite of it all. The spirit to endure is immense in us.
