I bought a red pepper, a white onion, garlic, and baby portobello mushrooms, and fried them up good and sticky in olive oil. Tossed in some sliced cherry tomatoes and basil, and a jar of marinara sauce and let it simmer. I boiled linguine and plated some up with a big spoonful of sauce. Grated some asiago on top, washed back with a nice cheap California cabernet. Feeling content right now.

We look back at the Mellberg teams as if those teams were really amazing. They weren't, for the most part. We've had a lot of great players come through, but no great teams. I miss the days when we could control games.
