  4. Mike, you going to the match at Bellend Rd.?
  5. Who is that CB they have now (21), he's an absolute physical monster. Is he a decent footballer?
  6. I'm sure when they open the upper Trinity things will feel/sound/look much better. I think this Championship thing is just a small wrinkle in time. Can't wait to be back in the PL with a competitive team. Villa fans have been starved for success for so long, I think VP will turn into a cauldron of misery for any club that visits. No time better than now to start planting those seeds.
  7. I made a pot of savory vegetarian soup. Browned two minced white onions in olive oil over low heat for 20 minutes. I cried the whole way through. Tossed some minced garlic and diced zucchini in there. Threw a big can of crushed tomatoes and water into the pot. Dumped a package of frozen corn and peas in there. Boiled 3 carrots, and then sliced them up and chucked them in the pot. Two tablespoons of low sodium veggie bullion. Two tablespoons of Frank's hot sauce. Cracked black pepper Let it sit for 30 minutes on low heat. Garnished the bowl with fresh asiago cheese. Easy peasy, you should try making it. Great way to get your veggies quick, easy and tasty.
  8. It's so reassuring that the president-elect is taking time to battle "Saturday Night Live" on Twitter.
  9. A couple of Dale's tall boys. Cheap and tasty!
  10. 1. New England 2. None. If I didn't already follow Villa, it would be New England Revolution, which was formed in 1996, but... 3. I became obsessed with Villa in 1994 when PL highlights started being shown here. Everything about Villa seemed so steeped in tradition and passion. The Trinity Rd stand woodwork, the noise from the Holte End, the mysterious atmosphere in the ground that is just awesome in the true sense of the word. The name of the club, the colors...and it didn't hurt that the team played nice football. "Villa picked me" is kind of cliche by now, but for me it's sort of true. But I had to be open minded to comprehend the really unique aura that the club had, and still has on better days. I made the pilgrimage in 1999, but haven't been back since. Maybe when we are at Wembley next spring I'll make it over again.
  11. Christmas, the day we celebrate the birth of some Middle Eastern dude over 2,000 years ago, whose mother got impregnated by an invisible man who lives in the sky. Pass the eggnog.
  12. I always suspected you were A.I.
  13. Right album, wrong place.
  14. This is more or less a direct challenge to Mooney. Name as many geographic locations mentioned in Rolling Stones songs as you can.
  15. Interesting side show developing.. https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/pentagon-and-intelligence-community-chiefs-have-urged-obama-to-remove-the-head-of-the-nsa/2016/11/19/44de6ea6-adff-11e6-977a-1030f822fc35_story.html
  16. Good question. He's off to a rocky start, being the first president-elect to settle a massive fraud lawsuit. Calamity follows him everywhere, so expect much more of it, with far greater consequences.
  17. He told Teresa May to give him a call if she ever comes over to the USA, LMAO! What a clown. D'oh, just saw HanoiVillan's post.
  18. **** Trump and **** what my country is turning into
  19. Flynn is a politician now, so he'll couch his language, but he's a hardliner who has supported Trump from the off. He's diabolical, and I don't give a **** how effective he is on the battlefield.
  20. Saw The Arrival today. Bit of a mind bender, and an entertaining flick in general. Forrest Whittaker butchering a Boston accent was little distracting, but he was still good. Best thing I've seen Jeremy Renner do, I'm not much of a fan of his previous roles. Adams was good.
